"Okay." Tay nodded.
Just that. Tay's reaction is too dry. He just confessed about himself. That other's thinks he's arrogant upon telling them what his status.
"That's it?" Still expecting different reaction from him.
"What do you expect from me?" Tay punched his right shoulder light. "Are you kidding me!" He shouted that almost made me deaf. "You liar!" Accused him and pointed his finger at him. Can also see the anger at his face but quickly change into laughter.
Confusion is all over New's face. He slapped away Tay's hand that's still pointing his face.
His lips pouted a lightly feeling a bit disappointed but at the same time happiness is still there. Tay is the only person whose reaction marked deep in him. In a way that made him feel comfortable enough to be with him.
"Why?" With that one word. Hoping Tay would understand what he meant.
Tay smile softly at him at stared directly to his eyes. Which makes him a bit uncomfortable. But there's warmth in it. He stared back to hear his explanation.
Newwiee is looking straight to his eyes. Waiting for him to speak up. Something caught his tongue as he just stared at the face who's in front of him.
Tay moves his head slowly for a better angle. Studying New's face. Maybe searching for imperfection but there's none. He even compliments the guy's pale face like what girls have. His eyes focused to his nose's small dot. Even his mole is cute sitting quietly on the top of it. And let's not forget the lips. The pulpy red lips. Slightly parted as if waiting for someone to be touched.
I want to touch it. Can I?
"Tay." New called his name. Tilting his head to catch where my eyes are looking at. Bringing him back to reality and his eyes are now back to New's.
                              "Huh?"
"Why?" Repeating his question. He silently chuckled by the fact that he's been staring at New's face too long that he even forgot about the question.
                              He cleared his throat first.
"For someone who wants to be alone, you're clearly an introvert. You're not the kind of person to lie or be arrogant about your status." He explained.
A hint of pink can now clearly see on New's cheeks as he quickly turns his head towards the sea. He tried to hide but he can't. White skin is betraying him and with the help of light from the moon, his face is more glowing than usual.
Tay grabbed New's face with both hands to let the guy face him. He doesn't know where he gets the confidence that the guy will not protest but he's take chances. New's eyes widen maybe from confusion but he didn't let go.
"You're not bad." Tay stated. "Some just don't understand you. You don't need to feel bad about it."
With just Tay's words of encouragement, New feels more confident. He smiled widely and nods thinking that Tay will let go of his face now that he understands what he meant. But to his dismay, Tay's still holding his face. He looked away when realizing the heat from his face.
He surely is blushing at the moment and Tay will definitely see it if he doesn't pull his face back. He pulled his head back too strong that made him lose his balance and his back is now laying on the sand. He stayed that way and feels Tay moved closer.
"Let's be friends, Tay." Using all the courage he have. Now looking at the night sky.
                              "Nahhh~." Sounds like a rejection.
He quickly sits back but shockingly Tay is too close to him that made him lose his balance again. He closed his eyes expecting to hit the sand again but only felt something wrap his waist and being pulled up. It was Tay's doing. Their faces are only a few inches away. That made New unable to look away.
Tay smirked and amazement can see in his eyes.
"Hello friend." Smiling widely as he slowly let go of his waist. "Let's go. It's getting late."
Tay stood up first and offered him a hand. He accepted it and he pulled him up. Once again their close to each other. He quickly moves away but only to keep some distance between them. Tay just shrugged his shoulders and started to walk going back to the hotel.
He's amaze how wide Tay's shoulders are. Compared to him who looks like a girl. Tay is the exact opposite of him. Except for body build. They almost have the same body structure. But Tay is in the masculine level. Tanned skin wish he wished he have but he can't. Even if he stays under the sun all day, his skin only reddens.
"I take it back." Tay said without looking at him. He run to catch him up and when he's beside him, Tay is only looking at the hotel's direction.
"You take it back?" Confused look in Newwie's face. "Did I do something wrong?" Grabbing Tay's arms.
Tay's face is too serious that even he's eager to know what his friend, maybe soon to be ex-friend, is thinking.
"If we're going to be friend and you still continue to go out during this hour, does that mean we can only see each other like this?"
Realization strikes him upon hearing Tay's statement. He's right. If he's going to be his friend, does that also mean that they need to hang out together.
"Do I need to change?" Measuring the water if it's too shallow. It's either he go through it or not.
Tay continue to walk away from him. He copied Tay's pace and wait for Tay's response. He needed it badly.
Tay suddenly stops that made him bump his head to his back. Tay looks back at him and smiled.
"You're perfect." Smiled widely and continue walking.
Upon hearing Tay's words made Newwiee stop. Like everything stopped. Even his heart. After a few seconds his heart started beating again but it keeps on beating faster than his normal heart. What is this feeling he's getting? He looked at Tay who's already a few meters away from him.
Newwiee jolted when Tay stops and looked back at him.
"Let's go. I'm sleepy." Tay declared. Newwiee run the distance between them. He feels relieve being beside Tay. "What took you so long?" Tay questioned and examine him using his eyes.
He shakes his head as no. Still, Tay matches hispace as they went back to the hotel.
