Chapter 06 - Together With You Part 1

Newwiee has been standing in front of his door for so long that he lost track on time. The moment he woke up; he immediately takes a bath as if planned to go somewhere. But he just stood there staring at his door. If his eyes have shoots laser, the door is already full of holes.

He startled by the sudden doorbell allowing him to know that someone is in front of his door. He immediately opened the door that even the waiter is shocked. He let him in with his cart delivering his breakfast. His eyes are not even with the food entering his room but the door of Tay's room.

He heard a cough behind him. It was the waiter. He's already done setting his food on the table. How long has he been standing again?

"Thank you." He gives the money that he has inside his pocket to the waiter. He gives way to him and slowly closed the door hoping that he'll see someone he knows. Someone like Tay.

He walked across his room straight to his small dining area. His place is like a mini house. It may not be big but it's complete. he has everything he needs. He sat down facing all the food but only stared at it. He got distracted again by the sound of his doorbell. Did the waiter forget something?

Newwiee stands up and opens the door. He didn't even look who is it knowing that it's the same person.

"Is this how you welcome your guest?" New stopped the moment he heard it. Tilting his head to the side processing if he heard it wrong. Slowly looking back at his doorway.

His eyes widen knowing who's standing at his rooms entrance. He rubs both his eyes to make sure he's not hallucinating. When he's done rubbing, he looked back at Tay still standing where he is.

"What are you doing here?" What a question he asks. Of all the things happened last night, that's the question he came up to.

"I don't mind going back." Tay started walking backward. Slowly. Teasing him and waiting for him to stop.

He lightly chuckles by his gesture and grabbed his arms. Guiding his new friend to the dining area. Later did he know that he's holding a plate with food. Questioning look on Newwiee's face as he looks at Tay.

"What is that for?" Pointing Tay's plate. Letting go of his arm.

"Inviting you for breakfast..." Tay is not even sure what's supposed to say. He just gives him a wide smile. Trying to act cute. But he's not cute at all. Tay will never be cute. He's more of a handsome guy than being called cute.

He shakes his head. It's not like he'll shoo him out. He just guided him to sit down and join him for breakfast. And no need to bring food with him. He gets him a plate from his own mini kitchen.

Tay followed New as he stood up and get his plate. He can't even scan the room he's in because his attention is New. Why is it that he's so curious about this guy? He's so happy and excited the moment he woke up. He can finally be close to him because of their friendship.

If being with Newwiee makes his vacation worth it then he's willing to stay at the resort for as long as he wants. He doesn't even get to think if his company is in the brink of bankruptcy under his cousin's lead. His focus is on New alone. But his sudden feeling of happiness and jumping heart while with him is still unnamed. Still figuring out one by one.

"I forgot something to ask you yesterday." Newwiee is walking back to where he is. Sitting at the chair in front of him. Now he can clearly see his face.

Tay waited for New to continue what he's about to tell him.

"How old are you, Tay?" Giving him the plate. Staring at the person in front of him.

"27." Simply answer the question. "You?" Also curious about his age.

"I'm 25. Then you're my P'Tay." Upon saying his name, New looked down that made Tay curious.

He stood a little and reached for New's face. Using his fingers to lift his head from his chin. He can clearly see the blushed in his cheeks as if it's been painted with pink color. He rubbed his cheeks using his thumb to confirm that it's real. He's not disappointed by the fact the New is really blushing by just call him his P'.

Tay is overwhelming with excitement. He softly smiled and let go of New's face because his eyes keep averting from his. New started to feel uncomfortable and he doesn't want to have a certain gap between them.

They had breakfast in silence. They finished everything in a flash as they didn't even get to talk at all during their meal. After eating, Tay volunteered to wash the dishes but he refuses to cause someone's going to pick it up later.

Tay walks around the room scanning using his eyes. He just sits at his usual place by the window as his eyes follow him. The silent is still there. He doesn't feel uncomfortable having someone else other than his family at all.

When Tay gets to see almost everything, except his room, he walked towards him. Seated beside him mirroring his position and looked outside the window.

"You can really see the whole resort from here." Tay commented. Still looking outside.

"Hmm." He nodded to the person in front of him.

"Do you have any plan going outside today?" Now looking at him. Is he asking him out? That doesn't even sound right. But it gives him a positive feeling for its other meaning.

"I don't know. Maybe. I haven't think about it yet." Not sure at all. Avoiding Tay's gaze when he suddenly looked at him.

"Will you go out with me if I invited you?" It's just a what if question but why does it feel like there's something else. New gathered his courage to meet up his gaze.

"I think..." New stopped upon hearing someone's phone rings. It sounds so near that he found where it's coming from when Tay pulled out his phone from his back pocket.

He excused himself keeping a reasonable distance before answering the call.

New let out a deep sigh realizing he's been holding his breath for a while. Why is Tay so cruel to him? Why do his words keep on having a different meaning to him?

He's in a daze when Tay finished the call.

"New." Tay called him to get his attention.

"Huh?" With a confused face, he looked at Tay who's already standing in front of him holding his phone with his one hand.

"Will you go out with me?" Repeating the same question. All eyes on him.

He unconsciously nodded his head to agree. He saw a smile on Tay's face and hugged him but let go before he can even hug him back. Still in a daze as Tay's smiling face to face with him.

"Then see you later. Let's have lunch at the restaurant. I need to go. I need to finish this first." He waved his phone. "See you later. Bye." And walked straight to his door.

New's eyes are still fixed at the closed door where Tay went out. Processing what just happened.

Did P'Tay asked him out?

NO!!! Answering his own question. He wants you to go outside with him. Like, hang out. Right?

New fixed his eyes by the view thru his window but also have a glimpse at his door. How can a basic hanging out with a friend makes him think too much?

Tay's back to his room and leaned at his door. He's back from Newwiee's room. Where he had breakfast together with him. Where he gets to see what's the room looks like. How he can see the whole resort thru his window. Where he asked him to go out with him. Only if New gets the idea that he really wanted to go out with him. Like a guy asking a girl... New's a guy... out.

I always say it's late upload but I can't help it when there's too much happening inside my brain about this story once I'm already writing it. But then again please look out for their lunch out.
