Chapter 14 - Getting Back

"Hi there." Without looking at the person, Tay definitely knew who it is. New's boyfriend, Earth. But still looked anyway.

"Hi." He greeted back as the guy sits opposite to his. He is currently having his breakfast. He closed his laptop to focus on the person in front of him.

"Don't mind me and continue what you're doing. I'm just waiting for our food and go." Earth said. Our? Maybe with New.

"Our?" He still wanted to hear it.

"New. He said he's hungry. I can't say no when he begs." Earth laughs maybe remembering how New looks begging for food. He smiles as he also remembers New pouting face. Will he be able to see that again?

"Right." Agreeing to what Earth mention.

"Especially when he's in bed. He's something." Earth is happily telling him stories about New but he suddenly felt unhappy about it. It's normal for couples to see each other before he wakes up or the moment he wakes up. But still... He just nods with an uneasy feeling.

"You're his friend. You must have seen it already." Tay shakes his head. "You gonna be kidding. Next time I'll bring you with me." He then said and made him frown. That is so not right. Why would he bring him to his boyfriend's room? "Let's have a meal together. It's always us and for a change, since you're his friend, join us."

Tay doesn't know what going on but he's too confused at the moment. He wanted to ask questions to Earth like why is he so cool about him being around. Haven't New told him what happened between them?

"There's our food. Need to go. Don't want to be on the bad side with New. Bye." He walks to the counter and then exits the restaurant. And once again, Earth leaving him speechless. How many times has it been? 3 times?

Every time Earth mention New's name or about the guy he always feels like catching up to something way beyond. Something that he can't even reach but still trying.

He'll be lying to himself if he's not hurting at all. He's very much accepted it if New is still angry at him. That's what he's expecting and readied himself from all the hateful words from New but that didn't happen. New smiled at him like an old friend.

But New and I are not friends. We love each other. We confess our feelings to each other.

He groaned as he remembers kissing New's lips. That softness and sweetness it brings that make you want to hang on to it and never let go. His body pressed close to him as he wraps his arms around his waist. Tay shakes his head to erase it. How can he think of kissing New when he's with Earth? And he seems to be a good guy.

Newwiee is very much determined what he's supposed to do. He freed the whole after and work his ass in the morning. He needs to talk to Tay and clear things out. Earth brought him breakfast to support him. And again with meeting Tay at the restaurant. What are the odds that the two keeps on colliding?

He closed his laptop and he's done for the day. He inhales air as much as he can and exhaled it out. And another. He might not be able to breathe again meeting Tay face to face.

To his disappointment, he can't even find him. He went directly to the restaurant hoping Tay would have his lunch but he didn't show up. Maybe he had his lunch at his room. Next, is at the café where he stayed there for hours but didn't get to see Tay.

New groaned as he walks out of the café and decided to take a walk. He wasted the whole afternoon waiting. He's even determined to face Tay but now all of it is gone. He feels like he's being rejected by his crush after his confession.

"Why the sad face, New?" A man asks him and he didn't even bother to look who is it. His mind is floating that even he doesn't know where it is.

"It's nothing. Enjoy your stay." He just bowed his head without knowing if the person is in front or behind him and continue walking.
