Newwiee is considered introvert. Always wants to be alone. He feels free that way.
Tay is a workaholic lad. Socializing is already natural in his system.
With opposite personalities and beliefs, the two didn't get to have a proper first impression...
Shit. That hurts! Earth complains but controls his emotion as Podd is beside him. He doesn't want the guy see him weak. New and Tay just left them. Those two really need to talk. But he doubts it if they'll only do some talking. An evil grin registered to his face. But soon vanish feeling the sting from his right lip side.
"Can you stand?" Podd asked who's squatting beside him.
"Of course. This is nothing." He answered but still accepted the hand that will somehow help him stand up. Which is Podd's hand.
"Why did you provoke him?" Podd's questioning him as if it's his fault. Which by the way, it really his.
Tay knew me and New are couple and my attention is all on Podd. It's not his fault that Tay misunderstood him. Or did I?
"I didn't." He defends himself.
"Be sure about it. Let's treat that cut first." Pointing the right side of my lips.
Podd leads me to his café. Of all places. Well, he doesn't mind at all. It's nearer and it's just a small cut. The café is still open for customers who love to stay up late. Even Earth gets to do that. Though, Podd doesn't stay there that late.
Podd personally applies the cream. It stings a lot. But fear not because he's already good at this pretending game. To act tough and be tough. Still, with Podd, he can be as soft as a marshmallow.
"Stop that." He heard Podd while finished applying.
"Stop what?" What did he do this time?
"Stop staring. Do you think I haven't noticed?" Podd who is now cleaning the table.
"I'm not." Earth tried to defend himself but he knows what he's doing. Only he didn't know that the guy noticed him because he's always busy with his café.
"You always do it. Stop." Podd is not even angry at him. Earth decided to test the water. There's no harm testing it. Right?

"What will I get if I stop?" Earth asked him. He looked at the guy who's focus is on him.
"I don't get it." Podd is feeling uncomfortable the way Earth is questioned him. Why would the guy ask for a consequence when it's his doing?
"You know I've been doing it but only this time you get to tell me to stop. It's already been a habit." Earth slowly approach him closely decreasing the space between them. With his 3-seater couch, there's not that much space to move back because he's already at the end of it.
"You'll never get anything, Earth. It's your own doing. Go rest. You'll need it." Podd pushed Earth always and walks out of the room.
Earth's attitude towards him is not something he can easily accept. He's starting to get confused with all the attention he's given him. He doesn't deserve that attention. He can't return such attention. Not with Mork still lingers somewhere in his heart. The promise that they've made which seems unbreakable. If only he met Earth first. Will things be different?

Having Podd and Earth in the story. I just thought that it is right to have a bit of their part. Sorry that Mork gets to be here too. I need someone to come in between them. And Mork is the one I can only think of. Even though they are couple in the series. Please don't hate me TT^TT
