"Why can't you be with us?" New asked Tay.

They just finished their breakfast and only waiting for the time to meet Tay's parents. They still have enough time to chat. New is being back hugged by Tay, arms wrapped tightly around his body.

"Ask Mae, not me babe." Tay pulling him closer. Both still sitting by the gazebo. "If you ask me, I'd rather stay at the house with you." Resting his chin on his left shoulder.

Tay is making small kisses on his shoulder going to his neck. New started remembering what happened last night. Really it was a big tease to him. If it wasn't for today's itinerary, he might actually give in. Or maybe do the first move.

"Are you just going to be in your study room?" New asked.

"Maybe. I still need to talk to Mint."

"She's here?"

"She lives here most of the time. But nowadays she's been going out."

"Are you two close?" New continued asking questions which made Tay frown to his behavior. His boyfriend is too curious about his cousin.

Tay let go of the hug and slightly pushed New to create a little distance between them. This made New face the older guy with confusion written all over his face.

"I'll ask Mae if Mint can join you later," Tay said and started cleaning the table.

New tried to help him but only got rejected. When Tay is done, he stood up and carry the basket.

"P'Tay, are you angry?" New followed Tay who's already started walking away. "I'm sorry if I asked too many questions."

"I'm not. It's better to go there early." Tay said and continue walking.

Mint and New are of the same age. Of course, there's a possibility to build friendship between them. Mint is Tay's cousin. She's part of the family. But he is New's first relationship. He never really told him is he ever did had a crush or ever been in love with a girl before.

New who's still feeling guilty and confused about the older guy's action just followed him back to his house. But later on, told him to head to the main house already. That his parents might be waiting for him.

New is tired by the end of the day but didn't let Tay's parents to notice. He felt like a déjà vu only before was the resort and now is a farm. It's massive and even bigger area than their resort. He takes all in the information they tell him about the farm.

"What time you'll be leaving tomorrow?" Tay's mother asked him. They're walking back to the main house from the farm.

"Around afternoon, Mae." New answered.

"Then have your lunch at the main house before going back."

"Okay, Mae."

"Tay must be frustrated that he didn't get to be with us today," Tay's mother suddenly said which made New look at the woman.

"He won't be able to, Mae. He said he's busy," New reasoned out.

"That's why you can have him after this."

"Huh?"

"You know, spend time together."

New blushed on the older woman's words. Spending time with Tay on his last day at their farm might lead to something else. Also, Tay might not want to since this morning he's been in a bad mood. Maybe he'll apologize again later.
