I don't get to thank the readers of Skip a Beat last chapter. I'm too focus on finishing the chapter. From hundreds to thousands and I just can't believe that a lot of people get to read my work. Even with the long break. And also for the votes. Thank you. Thank you. And for that, here's another chapter of.....

In front of him are his parents and Tay's parents. In one table. How did it end in this situation? After they're set in their room, Tay's parents decided to have their lunch and luckily, his parents are, too. What a mere coincidence.

Not really. Her mother gets to know the arrival of the couple and she wanted to invite them for lunch, the two pair are already at the restaurant. And him being the owner gets to join them.

"What floor are you staying?" New's mother asked. While they are currently looking at the menu for food to order.

"I believe it's on the top floor," answered Mr Vihokritana.

"P'Tay asked me to give them the room where he stayed." He said to inform them about the room. That only means Tay won't be coming back until his parents are still at the resort.

"Is that so." Mrs Vihokritana

"Yes, Ma'am." He nodded. "Everything is well taken care of for your vacation. But he didn't get to tell me how long you'll stay." Said New. He just made sure that the couple will be informed of what kind of resort he's running.

"No need to be formal dear. You can also call me Mae as you are friend with my son. And a close one, I presume," She smiled at him. Relief is there but the feeling of sadness is present that he's labeled as Tay's friend. When the truth is, he's more than just a friend.

As for the sitting arrangement. New is sitting together with his parents and in front of them are Tay's parents.

"Okay, Mae." He nodded upon agreeing. He'll definitely ask Tay about it tonight.

"You have no idea how close the two are. I'm also very thankful to Tay as New's friend. You can't imagine how he is before he met Tay," his mother started the conversation.

New can't help but remember how he saw Tay. How they slowly become friends. A close one indeed. Then become a special one that in the eyes of others is labeled as best friends which fades the smile on his face. Focus his eyes on the menu he's holding.

"They really are close like best friends." There. His father said it. His mother nodded.

Although, they really do say that they're best friends even though they're boyfriends. Unable to yet confess their true relationship status. New's been thinking about it the moment Tay left the place. For a week, he's been trying to debate when and how will he open the topic to Tay.

"I guess we should also thank New." Said Tay's mother that made New lift his head from the menu. "Tay is a bit... no, not a bit. He's very workaholic. We saw changes when he got back. That must be because of your son," she continued.

"I think he's gotten worst, Mae," Tay's father disagreeing to what his wife's statement which earned him a glare from his wife. "What I mean is when he first come home. He's restless." He defended himself but also caress his wife's hands softly. He can only watch the couple's conversation.

Are they talking about the time they had a misunderstanding? New asked himself.

"Must be the time when New here misunderstood Tay. We are sorry about that." New's mother apologized. He turned his attention to his mother beside him.
