He decided to just apologize for not getting back to her sooner. He mentioned how he was busy with a couple of other people. He was sure to tell her that they'd get started on Monday. Now it was was Monday.

I stirred in my bed, feeling a slight pain in my back. I must've slept wrong.g
I don't know how this weekend went by so fast but now I must be prepared to be back in school. I'm honestly kind of scared how this day will turn out, let alone the week. I let a sigh of exasperation escape my mouth. I literally roll out of bed, hoping that I'll fall on my back and that may replace the tensing pain. It doesn't, and now my day is really starting off bad.

I literally didn't sleep last night. I stayed up playing video games. Actually, I still am playing video games. I can't really be judged though because we've all done it before. I know I should get up though. Before I do though...
The phone rings in my hand. Caitlin is usually awake by now, why's she taking so long to pick up the phone?

Caitlin's POV
My phone rung, and I heard it. I'm just way too tired to pick it up.
Okay, I was way too tired, but all the drowsiness vanished by the third call. I'm still laying on my floor, but I can just reach up high enough to press the "answer" button.
"Hello?" I say almost awake.
"Cait, what took you so long?" I could barely hear his voice since the phone was nowhere near close to my ear. I have to strain just to bring it to me.
"I woke up late... I'm really tired." Apparently being 'wide awake' only lasts about 12 seconds.
"Okay, well you can thank me later for being your alarm clock."
I sigh of frustration. "Whaddya you want Cisco?"
"I just wanted to ask if you wanted to walk to school together today?"
"Cisco, you do know how far away we live from..." I knew I kept talking but I couldn't even comprehend my own words.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Nevermind." I sigh and rub my forehead. "God I want to stay home today." I mumble.
"That's ok. I was also gonna ask as a follow up question if you were going to school today. I can come over."
