Caitlin and Barry has actually accomplished some things during their night together. Caitlin came up with the concept of molecular speed after Barry told her how slow he was and wished he were faster;

"It's just- I'm so slow. I was bullied a lot as a kid for being smart and it didn't help when I couldn't run away."

"Honestly, your legs aren't the problem. It's your body's structure, the density and weight of it, that won't let you reach an incredible speed." Caitlin was doing that thing with her hands and face when she was explaining something. It was a rare sight for Barry- or anyone, for that matter- to see. "But it's not like you'd need to reach incredible speed, or IS for short."

"Wow Caitlin. You really do talk with your actions a lot. And you know a lot about this? How?" He'd questioned her.

"I told you, I'm gonna be a doctor. I've already began research training for med school and science is really easy for me. So, do you want to do this for the project?" She asked him.

Barry was so taken aback and in awe. "Uh, yeah okay. That's perfect. Cops use guns and bullets are fast, so Patty should like this too." He said.

Caitlin almost didn't understand what the hell Barry said, until remembering that Patty wanted to be a cop.

"Yeah, maybe she will." She smiled. Caitlin admired that he wasn't just thinking about himself.

"Okay so let's research the topic a bit more," Barry said while pulling his laptop out of his bag.

"Oh, no need." Caitlin said, putting her hand in front of Barry to stop him. "I already know a bit about the topic." She pulled a notebook over to her from the stand next to her couch.
