He's so Perfect

Chapter thirty eight

I woke up, feeling excited. Today was the day that I found out if I was having a boy or a girl.

The only thing that actually sucks is that Luke can't make it. He is still on tour and it literally sucks that he can't be here to see if he's having a boy or a girl.

My phone started ringing and I looked over and saw that it was Luke.

"Hey babe!" I said as I answered the phone.

"Hey baby. How did you sleep?" Luke asked and I smiled.

"Pretty good. Today is the day babe!" I said.

"I know. I'm so excited. Call me the second you find out." He said. I could practically hear the smile in his voice.

"Of course babe." I said. I'm so upset that he couldn't be here for this. Thankfully, he's moved on to England so that means he's getting closer to home.

"Okay. I have a meeting right now. I'll talk to you later. I love you!" He said and I smiled.

"I love you too. Bye." I said and I hung up the phone. I missed him so much. I miss his hugs and kisses. Dammit. I just miss him.

"I guess I should start getting ready. MOM!" I yelled and my mom came running into the room.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" She asked, clearly worried.

"No. I was just making sure you were awake." I smiled and she sighed, rolling her eyes.

"Well you don't have to shout." She said and I chuckled.

"Sorry mom." I said and she smiled as she sat on my bed.

"Are you excited about today?" She asked and I nodded my head.

"Yeah, but I really need coffee. Can we get ready to go?" I whined and she chuckled as she nodded her head.

"Yeah, get dress and then we will go." My mom said and I smiled as I got out of my bed.

I put on a short, blue dress that made my baby bump look huge and I honestly liked it.

I liked showing off my baby bump because I loved the fact that mine and Luke's baby is in there. There is a baby I love so much, that I haven't even met yet.

"And a large coffee collatta." My mom said and I smiled. I really needed this collatta.

"Thanks mom!" I smiled as the guy gave me my drink.

"No problem sweetie." She said as we walked out of the cafe. We got into my range rover as I started to drive to the doctors.

When we pulled to the doctors, I got out and so did my mom. I waddled into the doctors as my mom followed slowly behind me.

When we got inside, the lady told me that I was the first appointment so I could go inside right away, so I did.

"Mom. I got an idea." I said and she looked down at me.

"What is it darling?" She said and I smiled.

"How about you FaceTime Luke so it's like he's here." I said and she smiled as she pulled out her phone and called Luke.

"Hey guys!" He said as the doctor walked in. I smiled at the doctor and looked over at Luke where my mom was explaining what we were doing.

Next thing I knew, all four boys were looking through the camera. I noticed that they were at a conference.

"Okay, sorry guys. Luke is about to find out if Luke is having a boy or a girl." Michael said into the microphone and the crowed 'awed'.

"Okay, let's get started." The doctor said as I lifted my shirt and the doctor out the gel on.

"Okay. So here is your baby." The doctor said as I told my mom to point the camera to the screen. She did and I heard all the boys 'aw.'

"So we can clearly tell if your child is a boy or a girl. Would you like to know?" The doctor asked. Before I could even ask, all four boys screamed yes and the doctor chuckled.

"Okay. Well congratulations you guys, you are having a girl." The doctor said and I looked at my mom who had tears in her eyes.

"Baby?" I heard and my mom gave me my phone.

"Yes babe?" I said. I saw tears in his eyes and all I wanted to do was wipe them away.

"We're having a girl. Baby. We're having a girl. Oh my God." Luke said and then I started tearing up. I loved how excited Luke was for this. I was also happy that he was here to hear this even if he wasn't physically in the room.

"Oh my God. Thank God you're coming home in less than three months. We have to pick a name." I said and he smiled.

"Okay, baby. I have to go. I'll talk to you later. I love you girls!" Luke said and I smiled.

"We love you too Lukey!" I said and he ended the call. I was so happy that I was having a girl. I really wanted a girl and I knew, deep down inside, Luke wanted a girl too.

"Okay. Well everything looks healthy." The doctor said and I nodded.

"Thank you doctor." I said as he gave me paper towels to wipe off the gel. I mom took over and wiped the gel off, which I was thankful for.

"I'm going to have a granddaughter." My mom said as we got into the range rover. I smiled as I started driving.

"Can we do some shopping?" I asked and my mom nodded.

"Yes. Let's do that." She said and I smiled as I drove to a nursery store.

But on the way to the store, something tragic happened. I was turning right onto the street the nursery was on, a car was turning left coming from the opposite direction. He slammed into me and I remember seeing blood everywhere.

All I knew was that I was bleeding fast and I kept worrying about the baby until I passed out from the amount of blood I was loosing.
