I smiled while they're in tears
I hugged them trying to lessen the burden they bear
I laughed for them to believe and hear
Everything is fine, like the expression I wear
They say, "Oh what an emotionless lady!
How can she leave like that without any pity?
How can she leave her own family?
Why? This is not what she's suppose to be!"
I'm sorry people but I lied to you
I smiled so wide, you don't know I'm hurting too
I laughed my heart out 'till it breaks in two
Yes I lied, and you don't have to know
I'll be fine bearing all the pain alone
While my family is here at home
I know they'll be fine, they will understand soon
But for now, I have to live in my own.
