Chapter 20

Alex and I walked into the venue hand in hand, he had the biggest smile on his face that only reflected onto my own face.

I was happy to be with him, he was an amazing guy and I was certain he could make me fall in love with him all over again.

Everyone smiled at us when they saw us together. Jaime and Jack giggled like a fan would when her favorite band member complimented her.

"I've never been more happy to ship Skylex." Cass commented when we passed by her.

I laughed and shook my head while looking over at Alex who just smiled at her.

"Sky?" Pete approached me.

Alex and I both looked over at him, except I grinned and Alex kind of... frowned?

"Hey!" I squealed.

"I'll be with Jack if you need me." Alex announced and walked off.

"Are you two together now?" Pete asked when Alex had left.

I nodded.

"What happened to Patrick liking you?" he whisper shouted.

"What happened to Patrick calling dibs on me?" I corrected.

He huffed and rolled his eyes.

"Seriously, Skylar. I've never seen Patrick so in lust with someone like he is with you." Pete sighed.

"Yes, thank you, it's lust!" I exclaimed.

He pouted. "No... I think Patrick, he... loves you."

I laughed which only made him frown deeply. A frowning Pete is no joking matter.

I coughed awkwardly as I controlled my laughter. "No, Pete. Patrick and I are just friends." I declared and began to walk away from him.

He gripped my arm forcefully making me jerk back.

"Ow, Pete!" I shouted at him.

No one was close enough to hear, except for Patrick who immediately rushed over to us.

"Pete, what are you doing? Let her go!" Patrick yelled at him.

Pete slowly released his death grip on me and looked at Patrick.

"This tour ends in a week, tell her or you'll regret it for the rest of your life." he said to him and marched off.

I looked at Patrick with a confused expression. "Tell me what?" I asked.

He sighed. "Sky, I... I'll tell you after the show." he smiled at me.

I nodded and gave him a quick hug before walking over to where Alex and Jack were at. Alex's automatic reflex was to warp his arms around me and hold me as close as possible to his body. I only giggled at the extremely close contact.

"I'm happy for you guys." Jack said.

I smiled gratefully at him. "Thanks Jack, I doubt this would be happening if it wasn't for you." I replied.

"For him? Why?" Alex asked.

"He and Damon gave me a quick pep talk before I went to talk to you." I shrugged.

Alex only chuckled and hid his face in the crook of my neck, mumbling something along the lines of 'loving Jack and Damon.'

"I'm going to get my camera from the bus. I'll see you guys later." I said and pulled out of Alex's grip.

He pouted and went to protest but I stopped him by giving him a kiss.

He hummed in satisfaction which only made me laughed half way through the kiss.

I pulled away. "I'll look for you before you go on." I informed him.

"Duh, you have to. You're my good luck charm." he said with a goofy smile.

I laughed and rolled my eyes before heading over to the bus.

As I walked over there, I heard footsteps coming up behind me and I turned around to face Patrick again.

"Hey, Sky." he awkwardly said.

"Hey, is everything okay?" I asked, getting straight to the point since I saw the look on his face.

"Can I tell you what I was going to tell you?" he asked.

I nodded. "Sure."

He took in a deep breath then exhaled through his nose. "I-- I just, I wanted to tell you that..."

"Patrick!!" Joe shouted at him.

He grunted. "Never mind, looks like I will have to tell you after the show." he said and ran over to meet up with Joe.

I smiled and continued my walk to the bus. Once there, I climbed in still smiling but my smile dropped seeing as who was sitting in the front lounge waiting for me.

I gasped in shock and jumped back a couple steps, staring the enemy right in the eye.

"I-- I wasn't expecting anyone to be here." I said, holding a hand to my heart. "Especially not you." I added, my voice was sincere and soft but the tension was still way high.

"Especially not me? Why is that? Because you stole me boyfriend from me?!" Lisa spat.

She was always so nice to me, seeing her like this, so vicious and full of hate towards me, it scared me.

"I didn't--"

"Shut up!" she ordered.

I nodded, fear filling my body. The look in her eyes made me think that she was capable of doing anything at the moment... she could and would hurt me.

"I love him!" she shouted. "And you... you promised me that I had nothing to worry about because you could never have feelings for him, because you were in love with someone else."

"I didn't mean to come between you two." I mumbled, looking at the ground.

"You didn't mean to?" she repeated. "You're lying, you fucking worthless whore! That was your plan all along! It wasn't my fault that you lost your memory, so why am I the only one who ends up getting hurt in the end!?

"I was the one who helped Alex! I was the one who got him out of his own self pity while you slept with Tobias!"

"I am so sorry." I whispered.

She smirked... the most evil smirk ever imaginable, she did it.

"No, not yet you're not... but you will be." she said as she pushed past me to get off the bus.

I let a tear slip as I feel to my knees.

That was a threat. She had threaten me and I didn't know what to expect from her. What was coming my way?
