I stomped towards a table with a guy sitting in one of the seats already. The table was near the window and outside it was still raining. The pouring of the rain and the whispers of the teens didn't seem to ruin the man's thoughts.
I sat down at the seat next to him and studied his features carefully. It was quite hard as his face was directed at the window, but didn't stop the reflection of the glass to show his face.
He looked disconnected, like he wasn't even in his body anymore. I don't think he heard Liam's announcement either. I sighed in relief and leaned into the back of the chair, putting my feet up on the desk.
I stared at him again, but in curiosity. He looked so familiar.
His hair was black, fading to blonde, and at the very tips fading to white. His nose was sharp and skinny and his jawline was too. He again, looked like a model, but didn't give off the type of vibe. His uniform was neat, not like the rest of the guys I met. His lips were pursued, and his sharp jaw was resting on his wrist, the palm of his hand cupping his cheeks. His other hand was resting on his lap, staying there and not moving an inch.
The thing that got my attention the most was his blue eyes that gradient from dark to light, shining brightly on the reflection. Though, his eyes were emotionless and didn't seem to care about the things around him.
"Hey?" I greeted, trying to gain his attention.
He turned to me, tilting his head in question.
"Is anyone sitting here?" I asked, marking the spot on the table I was sitting at.
He shook his head to the side and put his attention back to the rain.
I pulled my headphones out and plugged it into my phone. I casually swipe through songs on YouTube and accidentally, my thumb slipped, tapping on a random video.
What is this?
A video of the same man showed up of the one I was sitting next to. He was sitting on his bed with a guitar and was about to play a song. His roomed seemed to be a normal teen's room which was quite refreshing to see someone from here somewhat like me.
I moved my thumb, so I can see more of the description.
Five million views? Five million just for an acoustic cover of one of his songs? He's a singer?
I looked at his profile.
"20,000,000 subscribers"
"Lethal | Official Music Video
100,000,000 views"
My jaw was hanging and I swear, was hitting the ground at this point. I started playing the song 'Lethal' and couldn't help, but bob my head to the beat.
