The whistle blew as everyone started their three minute run.
"I didn't even know you were in this class," I muttered, guilty that I never hung out with him.
Kisumi scratched the back of his head, blushing slightly in embarrassment.
"Yeah, I would rather not be touching bodies with sweaty teenage men going through puberty. Plus, I'm failing all my classes so I might as well fail this one too," He shrugged.
I watched the kids run around the gym. Of course, Liam shot me a few glances and gave Kisumi a side glare, but Kisumi didn't seem offended. Kisumi just winked at Liam, making him really confused.
I couldn't help but giggle at Kisumi's weird behavior. He turned to me and smiled.
"Time for my power move!" Kisumi shouted, getting the attention of the guys that were running near us.
He ran a hand through his hair slowly and bit his lips to get the attention of the guys running by.
I burst into laughter as all the guys started running quickly away.
"What the hell?" He asked, dumbfounded.
Kisumi leaned back in defeat, putting his arms behind his head for support.
"You know what's odd? Ryland." He whispered to me.
I put my attention back to him and raised my eyebrow.
"He usually never comes to school or hangs out near the gym doors. I think he got a crushy wushy on you~" Kisumi gushed.
I stared back out to the students in the middle of the gym. The gym teacher blew into his whistle and he started talking about football. I leaned in a little to take a look at Ryland. His gray eyes met mine as he took a puff of his cigarette and turned away. I rested my back to the wall and sighed.
Kisumi is right, but he's pushing himself away from me purposely, because I'm a threat to him.
"He kissed me, but told me someone would hurt him for doing that," I admitted.
