The front door opened.

"Liam!" I yelled out excitedly.

Liam chuckles at my childish behavior and makes his way to the couch. He slowly starts unchaining me from the couch leg, careful not to hurt me.

"How was your day?" I asked, holding my leg out still for him.

"Boring. I missed you a lot, Kitten."

I couldn't help but giggle at his comment.

The chain finally clicked off, allowing me to jump up and hug him.

Liam wraps his arms around me and pecks my cheek. He then leaves to the kitchen to start dinner, to which I follow him.

This was normal.

I couldn't be without Liam. Everyone hated me and all the friends I made turned out to be backstabbers in the end. Even Liam's dad turned out to hate me, but in the end I never had to see him again.

Even now I wondered why, but the number one rule is to never ask questions.

When I stepped through the kitchen door, the alarm went off.

I sighed.

It was super annoying.

I couldn't go anywhere potentially dangerous as it could hurt me. Liam was super overprotective, but atleast he cared. Nobody else cared like him.

Liam also sighed in annoyance as his phone immediately got a call.

He slipped his phone out of his blazer pocket and answered it angrily.

"I'm with her now. You can disable the alarms just don't disable the ones on the servants."

Then, he simply hung up and tossed his phone on the marble countertop.

I guess he still doesn't trust the servants around me or even around the part of the house I stay at.

In truth, I haven't seen any at all. I've only seen one, but I concluded it as a ghost since Liam says she was never even working there.

Though, something doesn't sit right with me. Ever since I saw her, I would hear screams until they died out just a few days after my encounter with her.

Now, it's been quiet.

"Princess ?"

I snapped myself out of my thoughts and looked up at him.

"What do you want for dinner ?" Liam asked, tilting his head innocently.

I stopped to think.

To be honest, I don't even remember what my favorite food is. Wait, what am I saying ?

It's always been Liam's.

"Anything you want," I answered, sending him a smile.

Liam shifted his stance after he heard me.

Then, he stepped forward, backing me up into the kitchen counter.

Slowly, he leaned over my body, having me bend my back onto the counter to keep some space.

"Oh?" He said, tauntingly.

His lips tugged into a smirk as he moves his hands under my shirt, feeling my waist.

He then places one hand on my thigh, leaning his face on my collarbone.

"Then I'll have you."

He slides his tongue onto the edges of my collarbone.
