My face turned red.

Did my teacher just tell me he feels something for me?

We stayed in the same position for awhile. His lips still touching my ear only slightly. His breathing was already steady, but it seemed like he was breathing me in, taking in my scent.

Suddenly, he raised his hand, ran his fingers through my (fake hair color) hair, and rips the wig off of my head, revealing my real hair color.

I gasp, but I couldn't move. His body restricted movement with my arms.

"You are replacing someone, yes?" He whispered into my ear.

I let out a small squeak as I nodded my head slowly. I felt his breath on my ear, heating it up.

"H-How did you know?" I asked, my body shivering in fright.

Nobody knew why I was here. It was only me and Mathew, but it seems like Raiden knew too.

"I overheard Mathew and his father talking about it, but i never heard why," he answered.

He pulled away from me and stared at me, waiting for the answer on why I was here. I avoided his gaze by looking at the corner of the room. Shit, Mathew really is dumb for talking about my plan with dad in the open. The only thing I can do now is explain.

"I'm replacing my cousin, (Male Name). He had gotten leukemia just as he had gotten accepted to this school and he has been way too weak to attend. I just wanted to help him out so he wouldn't be behind a year, you know? Plus, this is an amazing school so I'll learn more than the poor schools at the bottom of the hill." I said, my eyes falling to look at my fingers that were playing with each other.

In all truth, I was very close with my cousin, but not as much as before. He's been sleeping more frequently and can't really speak or move before getting really tired. I've been scared that he won't really make it.

Raiden pulled me into a hug much like I did earlier. He rubbed circles on my back as I cried into his shirt.

Like I said, the schools at the bottom of the hill never had good things. I wish that they would treat us better instead of dirt.

He pulled my uniform jacket off to reveal the tic tac toe scar on my arm. He, again, rubbed it softly. Then, he let out a sharp growl and turned to meet my gaze.

Raiden wiped my tears that I never really knew were there and stood up. He gave me a small smile and waved his hand, signaling goodbye.

"Talk to me anytime," he said, putting his hand down.

I nodded and sent him a grin back. Then, he turned around and left, closing the door behind him so nobody saw me in this state.

This was supposed to be my cousin's year in which he would be so happy in. He was supposed to take on the volleyball team and lead them to nationals.

I placed my hands on the desk next to me and stood myself up. I turned to look at the pile behind me and smiled to myself. We never really got to do the task he assigned me to do. Maybe I should do it for him since I cried on him for no reason?

I smiled in agreement and began unpacking the boxes in front of me. All the posters of EDM concerts reminded me of a normal teenage boy. I giggled to myself. A normal teenage boy. Raiden deserves to be treated as a normal teenage boy.

I hung them up in a really pretty way and started labeling and putting the math books away. It was taking a few hours, but that didn't bother me. My mom was probably working overtime anyway.

"Kitty~ how did your fur grow so much? " A familiar voice called out.

I turned around to look at the door and spotted Liam with his usual smirk.

He was leaning on the door frame and just stared at me labeling books. Oh no. I touched my hair and remembered that Raiden took my wig off. I desperately looked around the room and thankfully found it in the same place where me and Raiden were hugging.

"Fuck you," I scowled, standing up to pick up my wig.

Suddenly, I got slammed into a wall, Liam towering over me. He lifted a finger to my chin with a devilish smirk and a playful look in his blue eyes.

"You look beautiful like this," he purred, lowering his face closer and closer to mine.

I had to act quick before this stupid blueberry pancake kisses me. What did I do?

I lifted my knee up and kicked him where it hurts the most. Needless to say, he won't have children anytime soon.

"AH what the shit- goddammit- bad kitty- bad kitty!" Liam yells while rolling on the ground in pain.

I smiled to myself, put the last labeled books away on the shelf, picked up my wig, and fixed it onto my head. He looked up at me, begging for help. I gave him his own signature smirk and waved goodbye. Before I turned around to leave, I saw his smirk come back, but it seemed a little more sinister. Shrugging it off, I walked off and closed the door behind me. What a weirdo.

The weather was better today and the sun was setting slowly. It was a pretty scene, so walking home wouldn't be an issue. I recalled the events from today and it made me even curious about the boys I met. I feel like there is something they are hiding from me, but I feel like I shouldn't get into the whole thing.

A twig snap echoed in the distance.

I turned around and saw nobody. There was definitely eyes on me, yet I just couldn't even see them. I looked around, scanning the area.

Nobody.

But why do I feel so watched?
