The paparazzi stopped in their tracks, nobody dared to talk.

Noah gave them a small wave and pulled me into the party by my waist. The guards opened the door and we entered.

The party was not really big, but it had some pretty big influencers there, especially a bunch of singers. They were all wearing big dresses and formal tuxedos while taking pictures with friends or just talking.

"(First Name)."

I turned around and met Noah's eyes. I flashed him a smile and nodded eagerly as I can smell the sweets bar from where I was standing.

"I have to talk to my record label. I'll be back," Noah said, patting my head

He then turned his heel and left.

Huh, I guess it must be pretty important seeing how he just left me. Whatever, the sweets bar is waiting for me!

I looked around and noticed how everyone was being formal. I guess it's better to blend in then. I started walking towards the sweets bar in the most elegant way possible- and by that I mean walking like I had something stuck up my ass, but hey, I blended in.

When I made it, I couldn't help myself, but I just grabbed a (favorite sweet) and stuck it into my mouth. Rich people food is so good! I started raiding the bar, earning a couple judging glances from the people around me. Especially the girls that were looking me up and down in disgust. I didn't care though, but I really don't want people to watch me stuff my face like some mukbang youtuber.

"Hey," a man greeted.

I turned around and saw a pretty man in a tuxedo, smiling at me in amusement. He had slicked back blonde hair and blue eyes. He looked about twenty five to thirty years old.

"If you don't want to face judgement, I'll pretend you're my hyperactive daughter and I'm your dad," the man joked.

I gave him a small thumbs up with a smile and started grabbing more sweets to add to my plate. The glares and looks stayed the same, but the man cut them off with a, "Sorry, that's my daughter," and, "Don't mind her, she is never allowed sweets like this."

The crowd faltered and everyone went back to their business. I placed a sweet in my mouth and gave the man a thumbs up again. He chuckled, giving me another thumbs up while watching me enjoy my food.

Then, once I finished and put my plate away, the man grabbed a napkin for me to while my mouth with. I accepted it and wiped the crumbs off my face.

"Have you ever thought about being a model?"

I pulled the napkin away from my face and stared at him with wide eyes. Me? A model? He just watched me stuff my face and then asked me if I ever thought about being a model.

"No, she doesn't need to be," a familiar voice interrupted.

I looked up over the man standing over me. It was Noah, glaring at the man in front of me.

"N-Noah, how do you know her?" the man stuttered, stepping back.

Suddenly, Noah wrapped both his hands around my waist, pressing my back up to his chest. He rested his chin on my head protectively. This caught a lot of attention around us and everyone started whispering while staring. I instantly blushed and buried myself in Noah's arms.

"I'm her boyfriend," Noah answered.

The whispering turned into loud conversations and girls glared at me more than before. Noah let go of me and grabbed my wrist, dragging me out of the party. I trailed behind him, putting my head down in embarrassment.

Once we were outside, he tapped something into his phone and the limo pulled up to pick us up. The paparazzi disappeared and we were the only ones outside. The driver opened the door for us and we entered, Noah still holding onto my wrist.

We sat next to each other, our knees and arms touching. He intertwined our fingers again, but held on tight like he was scared or something. The limo began moving and Noah kept gripping my hand even tighter. I couldn't stand it anymore, because it hurt so bad.

"Noah, please loosen your grip," I begged.

He immediately blushed and let go of my hand all together. My hand missed the warmth, but I doubt he would hold my hand again. Then, silence filled the limo. This silence wasn't like before where we played with our hands playfully. No, this was a silence that felt impossible to break.

I gained the courage, however, and placed my hand in his.

Noah started blushing again and he turned to me, shocked. He then looked down in embarrassment and held my hand back.

"Why did you pretend to be my boyfriend?" I asked.

His eyes faltered downwards and his expression immediately turned stone cold.

"I'm sorry."

Noah fumbled with my fingers and then gave my hand another squeeze, but more gentle this time. I tilted my head at him, confused on why he was apologizing.

"I get attached to things easily and protective of it," He continued on.

I rubbed the back of his hand with my thumb, trying to comfort him. His hand fell limp in mine and he continued to be lost in his thoughts. The whole drive was like this. It was just silent.

The limo parked in front of my house and the driver stepped out and opened the door for me.

I let go of Noah's hand, but then he instantly pulled me back, gripping my arm.

"I'm sorry that I feel like this. If I know what this feeling is, I would tell you. I just don't understand."
