Wolves of the Elements| #1 The Lost Heir

Prologue

Long Long ago, in a land far away, there was a land divided among five packs of wolves. But these weren't just any old packs of wolves, these packs were The Alpha's packs.

There are five Alpha's , The Fire Alpha, The Water Alpha, The Earth Alpha, The Ice Alpha, and The Sky Alpha. And they each have packs of there own. These are the guardians and protectors of the land which the wolf  packs settled on, each of the five Alpha's vowed to protect the land with there lives. The land was then named Elementrix.

Elementrix had five parts to it, The Winter mountains, which was a group of mountains which always snowed, or always had snow on it. No other wolf except The Ice Pack could live there due to the cold, and lack of food. So The Ice Pack took that territory.

Next, not too far from The Winter Mountains, there was  The Evergreen Forest, a huge forest that supplied lots of herbs, vegetation and a good amount of prey. The Earth Pack took that territory.

A few miles off, there was Oceana, an ocean with lots of sea life ( fish of all kinds, lots of colorful coral, crabs, lobsters, sharks, and lots more).  The Water Pack claimed that territory.

On land,  about a eight to ten  miles from Oceana, there was The Barren Desert, a dry desert with a few cacti, scorpions, rattle snakes, a canyon, and a fiery gorge, ( a giant, huge, one mile wide, and ten miles across, and twenty miles deep, with fire and lava at the bottom of it, if you were flying above it really high in the sky, it would look like a HUGE crack in the ground). That's were The Fire Pack claimed there territory.

And finally there was Cloud Hill, a big Plato in in the middle of the four territory's. Cloud Hill was almost as big as a mountain, but not quite as high, and the top of it was to flat to be a mountain, not nearly as much trees or snow as any mountain should have. And The clouds always surrounded it . The clouds never left it, even on a bright sunny day, you could see the clouds surrounding it. That's were The Sky Pack claimed there territory.

Anyway, years after the packs settled in their territory's The Sky Packs Alpha pair  had their first litter of pups. The first born was a healthy male with a dark, dark grey colored pelt and dark dark grey feathered wings, they named him Lightning, because he looked really agile, strong and fast, Storm wanted him to be the next Sky Alpha. but when he opened his eyes he had grey eyes. Storm was really disappointed about this because he wanted a male, firstborn heir for the Sky gem. Second born was also male, he was light grey and had a white underbelly  that swirled together, he had light grey wings, so they named him  cloud because his fur reminded the parents of clouds swirling in the sky, he also had the normal grey eyes. Last born, was a runt, female, she was dark grey with a white underbelly, with dark grey feathered wings... but she had purple eyes.

If a wolf had different color eyes other than grey, like, blue, green, orangey red, ice blue, or in this case purple, than that means they were to inherit the current Alpha's gem. Storm did not like this, at all, because he didn't want a female to inherit his gem, or even worse a female runt.

" IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS!!?" yelled Storm, the Sky Alpha. He had dark grey fur with a white underbelly, and had dark grey wings and cold light purple eyes that match his personality, he had major anger issues, as well.  The purple diamond shaped gem in his forehead started to glow.
" Storm, it's okay." Said Mist, Storms mate calmly, she had grey eyes and had a soft light grey fur coat and had a white underbelly, her two colors swirled into each other, she also had light grey wings.

" NO, it's not okay Mist!" Storm yelled as dark clouds circled around Cloud Hill, growing darker by the minute. " That purple eyed runt is going to endanger us all, if it lives!"  Continued Storm. he was now pacing, It started to thunder.
