Alice was smiling when I entered the room, although I feared it was more of a grimace. She was still in the place I'd left her except she was sitting up now. I turned all my attention back to her, I noticed the panic in her eyes that she was trying hard to hide, and she could never hide it from me for very long. She was breathing wrong as well; I prised one of my hands from hers and began to rub her back,
