No one ever said that it would be this hard

Chapter 01

Jughead and Betty still live with their parents. The things after 3rd season didn't happen... So it's like they are after season 2. The things with the Black hood did happen and Hal is in jail now. Betty, Jughead, Veronica and Archie are still in school.

It was a normal Monday, or so I thought at least. I woke up with headache and that wasn't the only thing I had. I got out of my bed and walked to the bathroom. Then the first thing I did was throwing up. I had no idea what was up with me. I quickly changed my clothes and walked downstairs to eat breakfast. When I was finished, I heard a knock on my door, which meant that Jughead is here for sure. No one else would be at my door so early and of course it was him. Before I could open the door, I saw his beanie through the window. I opened the door and he looked at me.

"Juggy... what are you doing here so early?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.

"I thought I could walk you to school..." he said with his usual smile. Gosh... he is so cute.

"Isn't it a little bit too early for school?"

"No, not that I know..." I looked up at my watch. Jughead was right... I must have slept in because we only had a few minutes till first class started.

"Right... uhm sorry... I don't know, I can't think straight today..." I chuckled.

"And you're really okay, Betts? You look a little bit off..." Jug asked, worried. I smiled softly and nodded.

"Don't worry, Jug, I'm fine... just tired. I didn't get much sleep tonight..."

"Okay... but you know, you can always talk to me, right?" he stepped in and wrapped his arms around my waist. I nodded.

"Yeah, I know, Juggie" I smiled and he did too. He leaned in and gave me a short kiss.

"Hurry up, Betts, we have to go to school. Today is the math exam" I grabbed my school bag.

"Don't remind me of that" he chuckled and grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers before we started walking to school. The way to school wasn't that long but it was long enough to get out of breath if you run. We arrived just one minute before the last bell rang. I quickly ran to my locker while Jug went to his. We grabbed our math books and then we both met outside of the classroom door. We got inside and sat down with the bell ringing.

Let's get this day over with.

During nutrition break, Jughead and I met up at my locker and talked to each other before we started heading over to the cafeteria. Jughead was saying some things to me but I didn't really pay attention. I was kinda off the whole day, like when you know you get sick but at the same time, you know it isn't there yet. It is like... Ugh I don't know. At some point we sat down at a table and they all fell in a conversation. At some point, Jughead nudged me.

"Hey, are you listening to me?" Jughead's voice said and I just nodded.

"Yeah, sure, of course"

"And what do you think about it?"

"Yeah, great... I'm in..." I had no idea for what I was agreeing but who cares.

"Okay, then I'll pick you up at five?" he asked and I nodded.

"Sure... I'll be ready" I don't know for what I was agreeing and what I was going to wear. But as I know Jughead, he won't do something stupid. He could but he wouldn't dare to do it with me. He really cared about me and sometimes he is overprotective, yeah, but that's kind of cute, besides, I love him. He is adorable and amazing and he really does love me.
