Betty

I woke up with a a huge headache — and nausea. So the first thing that I did was go to the bathroom and throw up.

Nothing unusual during pregnant though, right?

After it, I took a quick shower. I was a bit better. My head was still pounding though — and I was even more exhausted then before. Tiredly, I made my way downstairs before just laying down on the couch to fall asleep there again.

When I woke up the next time, it was by some noise. Jughead was in the kitchen, already making breakfast. I walked over to him, though then sat down, rubbing my head as I watched him. He turned around to face me.

"Are you okay?"

"Mhm, just a headache. I might get sick. I will just... sleep a bit more or get some Tylenol" I explained. He turned around to face me.

"What d-do you mean?"

"Well, it's nothing unusual. Just... you know. A little bit of feeling unwell. It can happen when you're pregnant because your immune system isn't that strong. You know?" I asked, pulling my finger through my blonde curls to try and straighten it.

"Do you want a t...tea?"

"No, thanks. I'll just... go to the bathroom again and then head upstairs to sleep it off" he hesitated, though then nodded. I smiled softly and got up from the chair before heading upstairs, taking a left to the bathroom.

I slept off until Jug softly shook me away.

"Hey, are you feeling any better?" He whispered and I nodded, sitting up "I made chicken soup, that's g-good for when someone is sick, right?" He asked and I nodded again.

"Yeah," I chuckled before starting to cough "yeah, it is. Thank you. You really didn't have to"

"You're sick. That's what you do, right? You take care of... of someone" I nodded, pulling the blanket closer. He reached over to the nightstand and grabbed a bowl, which I didn't even notice before, to hold it up.

"Thanks, Jug" I said, taking the bowl from him but only to put it back on the nightstand "really, but I'm not hungry right now. What time is it?"

"Shortly after 1"

"Mhm, okay. Can you bring me another Tylenol maybe? My head is throbbing..."

"Yeah, sure" he got up from the bed and walked out of the room. Shortly after, he came back and sat down on the edge of the bed again. I had laid down again, the blanket all the way up to my chin.

"Hey, can you sit up a little?" He requested and I hummed, doing so. He reached me a pill and then a glass of water to swallow it. After swallowing it, I laid back down. When I did, Jughead rested the back of his hand on my forehead.

"You have a fever, Betty. We should go t-to the doctor"

"I have an appointment with the gynecologist tomorrow anyways. Remember? We will go there tomorrow and if something is wrong, she will tell us. Otherwise, I'll just sleep it off and you'll see, I'll be better tomorrow already. Don't worry too much"

"O-Okay... Are you sure?"

"Yes, don't worry. I'm fine, just a little headache" and fever, apparently "the baby is fine too, you'll see tomorrow. Just try to relax a bit"
