Chapter 15

Jennie POV

I woke up the next morning alone in bed. I had a good sleep last night. I even had a dream about Lisa whispering something and gently kissed the tip of my nose. I don't know if I should consider it as a nightmare but if it is... I guess, it's a beautiful nightmare because I automatically smile just the mere thought of it.

I didn't get up, I just rolled my body in the other side of the bed. I grabbed Lisa's pillow and hugged it with my eyes still close. I smile when I smell her natural scent in her pillow. I really love her scent, sweet and intoxicating.

I'm still hugging her pillow and enjoying it's scent at the same time when I heard a familiar voice greeted me.

"Good morning."

I quickly open my eyes and saw Lisa's face with smile on her face.

She is standing a few steps from the bed, looking like a true rancher in her attire. She looks more gorgeous than ever.

I was expecting for her to teased me because she caught me smiling like an idiot while holding her pillow tightly but then I heard nothing from her. Instead she gave me a wide smile, flashing her perfect set of white teeth.

I slowly left the pillow and got up from the bed, still confused with the way she's looking at ne.

What's with her today? Something's not right! She's acting really weird. I thought while my eyes on her.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have work today? I thought you're busy with--"

"Well, good morning to you too Lisa." She cut me off, her voice void of any sarcasm, and she's smiling lopsidely now.

I was a but embarrassed because I remember being greeted by her. How impolite of me not to greet her back.

"I-I'm sorry, good morning." I said, slightly blushibg because of embarassment.

"The maid told me that you are just inside the room the whole day yesterday. So, I was thinking maybe... you wanna go out today?" She asked and a sudden excitement rushed through me.

"Ofcourse I want to." I answered her quickly before she cahnged her mind.

"It's not looks like that your really get bored here in the mansion." She slightly teased, maybe because I quickly agreed to her.

"You don't know half of it." I said that cause her to laugh.

I'm amazed how she is this morning. She really is different Lisa. Well, she still looks formidedable, which I'm sure already a part of her but she looks more tamer now, less authoritative, and her slightly teasing mode affects me more than usual.

"I'll just wait for you downstairs." I heard her said.

I nodded to answer her and she turn around after.

She was near in the door when she look at me again.

"I forgot to say, wear something comfortable. We're going horse back riding."

"I don't have a--"

"Use mine, I have plenty. Just dig in my closet."

"Ni, thank you. I'll just used my own clothes." I respond.

She sighed.

"Jennie, you're my wife. Whatever's mine is yours. And besides, this is not the first time tgat you will use my clothes. I remember lending you one the first time you slept on my pad. You used it before so why not now?"

I know I'm not making any sense if I continue to refuse her offer. And she's just trying to be good to me, I get it now.

"Ok." I obliged.
