School has become trivial, each day much like the last. Starting with the moment I arrive on the premise. Mr. Schuester pulls his falling apart clunker into the free spot next to mine, briefly waving at me as he passes to go into the school.
I hop off my trunk, ceasing my ritualistic observations of the students as they linger in the parking lot before school commences, and hurry to catch up with him as he's met by Rachel and Finn. Out of kindness Finn reaches down, taking Rachel's pink backpack on wheels from her, "Let me help you with that."
"Thanks, Finn. You're so chivalrous," she sweetly thanks Finn, using words he doesn't understand.
Next I see Artie, Tina, and Mercedes and Mr. Schue congregating and I slowly gravitate towards them, grimacing at the sickeningly sweet adoration Rachel has for Finn. Mercedes sees me and immediately smiles, which makes me happy to know I have a friend, "Hey, Mr. Schue. Hey Xae. We're just learning some runs."
Mr. Schue laughs, "Oh, yeah?"
Mercedes demonstrates what she meant, yet again amazing me with the talent she has. After hearing her riffs and runs Artie, Tina, and Mr. Schue poorly mimic her, making me laugh with how each of them fell short to match her talent. "With the finger, huh?" I prompt as they all mimicked her exact movement as well.
The teacher leaves us to go in the East Entrance while the four of us go into the Main, still laughing and goofing off before first periods.
Not shortly after Kurt meets me at my locker with a sour expression on his delicate face, informing me that yet again Puck and his knuckleheads threw him into the dumpster prior to my arrival on campus. I angrily grab my history book out from the top shelf, huffing out a string of profanities at the information provided to me, but it starts to fall. Instinctually, I trapped the hardcover textbook with my knee like I would a soccer ball, before it hits the ground. Kurt's jaw was to the ground, resembling a cartoon character, after watching the whole thing.
I laugh at his reaction, turning to go to Mr. Schue's class while giving him an explanation for my actions, "What? I played soccer before I moved here."
Then I'm surprised by being hit in the face with a freezing cold, sticky substance that I know without a shadow of a doubt is a slushie. I look up to see who decided to be dumb enough to give me my first slushie facial. Of course I identified the perpetrator as Puck.
I wipe the bone chilling slush out of my stinging eyes, beyond pissed. Grabbing him by the wrists, I pin him against the lockers. "Listen here Puckerman, I've got the control here seeing as I have you against the wall and I'm clearly strong enough to restrain you. So I want you to listen very carefully to what I'm about to say next. If you ever do that again I will make your life Hell on Earth, you hear me?" I threaten him with my foot on the soft part of his foot and his arms pinned to his side.
I waited for some type of indication that he understood my hate filled words before I let him go. Storming off to the bathroom, Kurt's arm in tow, to clean myself off. Noah Puckerman just made an enemy today and he'll regret it if he tries me ever again.
My day progressively gets worse when during Glee Club Mr. Schue makes the seven of us sing "Freak Out" for the school assembly. "Energy, guys! It's disco. Good with the hands. John Travolta hands. All right. We're freaking out. Let's go. And up and out and down. Good. Good. Good. Good, guys."
Rachel does this super high kick and barely misses Mercedes face. The action was Mercedes' tipping point, cueing her to push the small brunette away from her whilst barking, "Whoa, whoa! Hell to the nah! First of all, you try to bust my face again, and I will cut you! And, also, this song is terrible."
