We're sitting in Mr. Schue's apartment for our 1st Regionals song nomination party. What will ultimately be our last.

We're all staring at each other upset, so upset that none of us even touched the pizza. The eleven of us looked at each other, saddening the impending sense of loss by not speaking. Mr. Schue leads Quinn into the room, seeing our sadness, "Nobody wants any pizza? All right, well, uh, let's get started. Thank you for coming to the 1st annual New Directions regionals set list nominations party."

Matt's sitting on the arm of my chair, resting his arm behind me to stabilize himself. He sighs, dropping his head on top of mine, "What's the point, Mr. Schue?"

"Coach Sylvester is one of the judges. She's gonna crush us," Artie whines beside me, fiddling with the breaks on his chair.

I look at him in a vain effort to comfort him, "Artie, you don't know that."

"Yes, we do. She told us at Cheerios practice. Yeah. She said, 'I'm going to crush Glee Club'," Santana grimly informs us, causing small gasps and the beginnings of sobs outbreak across the small room.

Puck, on the other hand, looks as pissed by the hand we've been dealt as I am, "A whole freaking year. All that hard work for nothing."

Tina starts hysterically crying, "I'm sorry. I just really love you guys. You know how many Facebook friends I had before I joined Glee Club? Two. My parents. Rachel was right. Being part of something special it made me special. I just can't believe it's gonna be over in a week."

"Wait. Who says it's gonna be over?" Mr. Schue asking, looking around the room seeing our disappointed, angry, crying faces.

"Please. You think Puck and Santana are gonna even acknowledge my existence once we're not in Glee Club together anymore? Do you think Lia won't be getting fights with them for treating us like crap again?" Mercedes prompts, motioning toward them then back to me.

Everyone points their attention at me, and I shrug in time with Puck, chorusing, "She has a point."

Rachel is a sobbing mess in the armchair, "Mr. Schuester? Do you think instead of nominating songs, we can just all go around the room and talk about things that we loved about Glee Club this year?"

For the rest of the night that was what we did, talking about memories from this year and the friendships we've made, everyone cried except for me, Finn, and Puck.

"Mr. Schuester, Finn and I have something we want to say to you," Rachel announces, walking into the choir room the next day with Finn.

"Me first. Have a seat. Nine months ago there were five of you and we really sucked. Bad. One day all of you are gonna be gone and all of this, all of us will be nothing but a hazy memory. It'll take you a second to remember everyone's name. Someone will have to remind you the songs we sang, solos you got or didn't. Life only has one beginning, one end, the rest is just a lot of middle. And I love you guys too much to let you not make the most of it. Now, I was gonna quit once, but you guys brought me back with 'Don't Stop Believin''. It was a nine, but we are going to make it a 10."

My jaw drops out of excitement, that was the first time I sang for him, "We're doing 'Don't Stop' at Regionals?"

"And then some. We're doing a Journey medley. Because who cares what happens when we get there when the getting there has been so much fun? Rachel, you had something you wanted to say?"

We all look at her, she nervously giggles, "Just that we're all really glad you didn't become an accountant."

"Regionals here we come."
