I woke up about the same time Katara did. I helped her try to get Sokka up, but he still seemed to be in the clouds.

"It's time to go, Sokka." I shook him gently. He smirked as he wiped the back of his hand down my face. "So pretty to wake up to."

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't contain the small smile that crept on my face. "Whatever, come on."

Toph smacked her lips. "Yesterday my mouth tasted like mud. Now it just tastes like sand. I never thought I'd miss the taste of mud so much."

Katara scooted over to wake up Aang, but it wasn't needed. "I'm awake." Aang's voice was low and serious. "I couldn't sleep."

"Well, we need to get moving if we want to get out of this sand pit." Katara said. Seconds later, Aang shot up from the ground with a grin. "Appa!" We all looked up to where he looked. A large figure was moving passed the moon.

"Appa? But why would Princess Yue need him? She's the moon, she flies by herself!"

I turn to Toph and cock my brow. "Princess Yue?" She only shrugs, just as confused as I am.

After realizing it was only a cloud, we all look down in disappointment.

"It's just a cloud." Katara sighed. "Wait, a cloud. Here, fly up and bend the water from that cloud into my pouch." She hands Aang her water pouch and he snatches it from her hands. He opens up his glider then flies up to the cloud. We watch him fly back and forth until the cloud was nearly gone.

On his way down, he tosses the pouch to Katara. She looks inside and frowns, "Wow, there's hardly any in here."

"I'm sorry, okay?! It's a desert cloud, I did all I could. What's anyone else doing?! What are you doing?!" Aang harshly points his staff to Katara. I step forward and push down the staff with my hand.

Katara looks away from him, "Trying to keep everyone together." She then looks down at the map, "Let's just get moving. We need to head this direction." Katara begins to walk and we all follow behind her.

After walking for a short time, we stop when Toph trips over what I thought at first was a rock. "Ow! Crud! I am so sick of not feeling where I'm going." I snicker as I lean down next to her. "Don't say it." Toph grits as she rubs her food. I smirk, "Poor rock."

"It's not a rock. Some idiot buried a boat in the middle of the desert."

"A boat?" Katara asked before quickly walking to it.

"Believe me, I kicked it hard enough to feel plenty of vibrations."

Katara started to dust off the sand, but knowing that would take forever, Aang stepped in. We all stepped back a few as he uncovered it. Seconds later, there was a perfectly unscathed boat.

"It's one of the gliders the sand benders use. And look! It's got some kind of compass on it. I bet it can point us out of here!" Katara grinned. "Aang, you can bend a breeze so we can sail it. We're gonna make it!"

We all turned around to look at Sokka burying Momo in the sand. He laughed stupidly then gave us a thumbs up. I sighed, "I got him."

We had been sailing for an hour or so. I sat next to Sokka to make sure he stayed still, Katara was the one who navigated as Aang bended a breeze, and Toph sat with her legs to her chest.

"The needle on this compass doesn't seem to be pointing North according to my charts." Katara said.

"Take it easy, little lady. I'm sure the sand folks who built this baby know how to get around here." Sokka inputted slowly with a smirk. When I realized he was holding Momo by his tail, I quickly reached for him. "Sokka!" I grabbed Momo and held him in my arms. "Leave Momo alone."

Katara then gasped, making me jump to look at her. "That's what the compass is pointing to, that giant rock! It must be the magnetic center of the desert."

"A rock!? Yes! Let's go!" Toph cheered.

"Maybe we can find some water there!"

"Maybe we can find some sand benders."
