Thalia (1)

Aang yawned, "So what's our plan?"

"Don't know, too tired to think." Toph replied. "Brain... isn't functioning." I mumbled.

"I'm sure we'll think up with something after a short nap." Katara said. "Yes, sleep." Sokka squeaked.

After a few seconds, it felt like we were being lifted into the air. I groggily opened my eyes before widening them once I realized we were really being lifted into the air. We were plummeting toward the ground.

"What's going on?!" Toph yelled. "Appa fell asleep!" Aang replied. We all erupted into screams. With one of my arms holding the saddle, my other one grabbed Toph and pulled her into me. She held onto my waist as I gripped the saddle with both hands now.

"Wake him up!" I yelled. "I'm trying! Wake up buddy!" Aang said.

With a hard thud, we hit the saddle before holding onto the saddle once again for dear life. We all groaned as Appa was flying through the trees. The branches and leaves hitting us while doing so.

Finally, we crash-land in the woods.

"Appa's exhausted." Aang said. I stood up from the saddle and looked down at him with an annoyed expression, "You think?!"

"Okay, we've put a lot of distance between us and them. The plan right now is to follow Appa's lead and get some sleep." Sokka said. We all walked to a spot on the grass with our sleeping bags in hand.

"Of course we could've gotten some sleep earlier if Toph didn't have such issues."

I whimpered, "No..."

"What!?" Toph screeched.

"Alright, alright! Everyone's exhausted. Let's just get some rest." Aang tried to calm the two down, but Toph wasn't having it. "No! I wanna hear what Katara has to say! You think I have issues?"

"I'm just saying, maybe if you helped out earlier, we could've set up our camp faster and gotten some sleep." Katara replied. "And then maybe we wouldn't be in this situation!"

"You're blaming me for this?!" Toph began to march over to Katara who threw her sleeping bag on the floor to get ready to fight. Aang ran in between the two of them, "No, no! She's not blaming you!"

"No I'm blaming her!"

"Hey! I never asked you for diddly-dooda! I carry my own weight! Besides, if there's anyone to blame, it's sheddy over here!"

"What? You're blaming Appa?" Aang asked offended. "Yeah! You wanna know how they keep finding us?!" Toph pulled off some of Appa's fur and let it drift away from her palm. "He's leaving a trail everywhere we go!"

"How dare you blame Appa! He's saved your life three times today! If there's anyone to blame, it's you! You're always talking about how you carry your own weight, but you're not! He is! Appa's carrying your weight. We never had a problem flying when it was just the three of us!" Aang snapped. Sokka and I looked to each other in shock. We didn't expect that.

"I'm outta here." Toph grabbed her bag and placed it over her shoulder before walking away from the group. I sighed, picking up mine as well. "Good job, Aang."

"What did I just do?! I can't believe I yelled at my Earth bending teacher. Now she's gone." Aang said while hanging head down.

"I know, we're all just trying to get used to each other, and I was so mean to her." Katara said.

I nodded. "If you just kept your mouth shut, Aang wouldn't have yelled at her and we'd all be asleep right now."

"Yeah, you two were pretty much jerks." Sokka added. "Thanks you two." Katara said sarcastically. "No problem." Sokka and I said in unison.

"I'm going to go after her." I waved to them before running off in the direction Toph went. When I caught sight of her, I called for her. "Toph! Toph, wait up!"

"Don't try and convince me to go back, because it won't work!" She said with her hands in fists.

When I reached her side, I shook my head. "I'm not going to convince you to do anything. We're in this together, right."

She slowly nodded and we continued to walk in silence.

Side note: I'm so sorry I haven't updated in literally a month!!! To be quite honest with you, I won't be updating this book as frequently like I do with my other two. I'll try to update this book as much as I can, and hopefully the next one won't take another month. And won't be so short like this one is. Thank you for reading.
