Chapter Seven
Greyson
"Places everyone!" Brandon yelled as they prepared for the soft opening of the club. Invites were sent out and just about all of them responded, so it'll certainly be a full house. Greyson had his hair tied into a ponytail as he helped some of the guys rearrange the seating on the floor. At the last-minute Greyson decided to try and change a few things around to give it a better feel.
The girls for the first half were scrambling around to their designated places and making last-minute adjustments to their uniforms, as the bottle girls got last-minute practices in on carrying the trays.
They finished up the rest of the work and Greyson went back to his office to change clothes and prepare for the night. He slipped on a pair of black Dickie jeans and a navy-blue button-up shirt paired with his blue Air Max 95's.
He looked out his window and saw Brandon speaking with the bouncers preparing to let everyone enter. He then walked over to the radio and pressed play on the playlist. Soon music filled the area and the girls began dancing in their spots. Each one had an outfit that complimented the furniture of each room, whereas the one on stage wore an all-black outfit.
Once everything was set, he grabbed his badge and made his way down. Bypassing everyone, Greyson went out the back door and circled the building just to see how many people were out there. He saw a lot of the invited guests and many came with a few plus ones. As he walked past the line to get to the front one person, in particular, stood out to him. He would remember those legs anywhere.
Clad in a nice black cocktail dress, with her hair pulled up in an intricate hairdo, Greyson went and stood next to her.
"Didn't think this kind of place was your thing." He commented.
She quickly turned at the voice surprised to see him. "I received an invitation a few days ago. Thought I would check it out for myself." She answered back.
He gave her a slight nod and thought back to the invitation list and didn't remember putting her name on the list. Hell, he didn't even know her name to even put it on the list. All he knew was her stage name, and he knew for a fact that wasn't what her parents gave her.
As if she had read his mind, she pulled out the black envelope with her name on the front, Red. Well, at least she knew it was for her. He took the invitation from her hands and looped her arm through his pulling her from the line. That earned a few glares from the girls that he was sure didn't have an invitation.
"What are you doing?" She questioned looking back at the spot she was just standing in.
"Getting you in, what does it look like?" He said with a smirk.
She raised one of her eyebrows taking in his look against all the other guys dressed in the line, no way they were letting him in. "Do you even have an invitation to get in? I was told this is invite-only for the soft opening."
Greyson didn't say anything and just walked them to the front door waving at a few people he knew. Once they got to the front, he lifted his shirt revealing the badge on his hip identifying who exactly he was. The bouncer nodded his head and stepped to the side letting them through.
"What did you just show him?" She asked. He heard the slight fear in her voice. He turned his hip in her direction and lifted his shirt revealing a badge that was labeled Owner.
