Chapter Two

Zamaria

"And here you are my good friend." Zamaria stood by the bar and counted out a hundred dollars and slid the bills to Dave. "As always you came through."

Dave took the bills and shoved them in his pocket with a wide smile. "Anything for the slayer of exotic dancing." They both let out a loud laugh as Dave prepared to leave.

The place was empty and not a soul was in sight besides the few unlucky workers that got left with clean up. "So, what are you up to for the rest of the night? I know you got somebody waiting on you."

Dave was like her best friend here at work, the only person she could really talk to. All the other dancers were cliqued up and no one bothered to really be friends with her. The only time she interacts with any of them is if they get paired up for the night.

"As a matter of fact, I do. Mr. Greyson Wolfe to be exact." She took a glance at the clock hanging behind the bar and seen it was 3:20. "I guess I've had him waiting long enough and can grace him with my presence." Red stood from the barstool begin sure to put it back in its rightful place.

She had only meant to make him wait for about twenty minutes, but they had made more money than usual that night, so it took a bit longer to count and divvy up. By the time they were done, it was 3 o'clock, and she knew he'd be long gone by now.

"When were you supposed to meet him?" Dave gave her a confused look. He didn't know too much about the dope boy, just whatever rumors were spreading, but he did know a guy like him you don't play games with at all.

Zamaria gave a halfhearted shrug and gathered the last of her items. "Like an hour ago. I'll see you tonight with details." She blew a kiss as she made her way to the back entrance.

The cool nighttime breeze blew softly against her skin bringing fresh air to her stuffed lungs. Zamaria made her way to the front of the building, heels echoing around the silent night. As she rounded the corner Zamaria discreetly skimmed the streets but saw nothing. And no one. Her excitement slowly began to fade until she saw headlights flash just a few feet away from her. She stood up tall and kept walking like she hadn't noticed.

"So, you take my money and then keep me waiting? You know I'm a very impatient person Ms. Red." A voice rang out from the car. Red stopped and took in the owner of the voice smiling to herself.

"I'm not sure I follow. Who are you?" She asked innocently.

She watched as the figure stepped closer to her revealing Greyson Wolfe. "Oh" She pretended to be surprised. "I didn't think you were serious. Besides it's been what an hour and a half past the time you said. So, I figured you were long gone by now."

She gave a shrug of her shoulders watching as he walked back to his car without saying anything but two words. "Get in."

Zamaria gave herself a victory pat on the back. Let the games begin.

She climbed in she took note of the spacious car. It was a red 2009 Nissan Altima. Something she didn't expect for him to be driving. The interior was all beige and black with comfortable leather seats. You could tell he had seat covers on everything.

"Nice ride." She commented only to receive a head nod in response. Two Phones by Kevin Gates played in the car. Zamaria watched as he pressed a button on his steering wheel to answer the call.
