Chapter Six
Greyson
A thick cloud of smoke greeted Greyson as he walked into the room. He looked around peering through the cloudy room at his men. Production was moving along smoothly with the new location. He even created a specialty drink for certain customers. The soft opening would begin in less than 3 hours and he would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. This could either make or break his business in a huge way.
Of course, he wouldn't let anyone see him sweat. Greyson continued to walk around the room with his signature black bandana around his mouth, and fake reading glasses. He felt like it gave off that Clark Kent kind of vibe, only a very select few really know him.
"Hey, Brix, how are the drinks coming long?" He asked the after-hour bartender. He had hired two bartenders, one would run the show during their mid-day hours a.k.a, the bar lounge, and Brix would run the after-hours a.k.a, the strip club.
"So far so good, I have three signature drinks right now, undetectable but you still get that bang." Brix said with a wide smile on his face. He was the best mixologist Greyson could find around town, so he wasn't too worried about Brix screwing anything up.
Greyson's operation included more than just selling a little marijuana on the street corners. He also dabbled in the dealings of cocaine and heroin, but those were smaller batches and he only sold to the high rollers. This was what the specialty drinks were, some had cocaine the others heroin, but only enough to just get the buzz going. Two drinks each is what he asked for, and they would only be sold to those select few customers.
Greyson walked around the room checking on each team to see how they were coming along or the soft opening. Everyone was on top of things and he was feeling great about things. He then made his way back up the steps to the supply room. It was a cleverly hidden door disguised as part of the wall. Even if they were to get raided no one would notice the difference. He made sure to cover all tracks and make sure there was no way anyone could find it.
He then made his way throw the back room and out onto the floor watching as the movers added the last few pieces of furniture to the top rooms. Each section was painted a different color and the furniture had complemented each section. He couldn't help but laugh at how well it all looked, he most certainly could have been an interior designer if he had the drive when he was a kid.
As he continued making his rounds his phone rang in his pocket. "Sup man." He answered after seeing it was Brandon.
"Hey boss man, the girls for both sets should be arriving now, I just pulled up where would you like me to get them set up?" Brandon asked as he climbed out of his car.
"Have them get stationed in the upper rooms and at least four on stage, I want to see how it'll look in case I need to fix the layout." Greyson answered as he took off his bandanna and glasses once he was in the confines of his office. He stood in front of his window that overlooked the entire club. He had a view of everything except the bar which was right below him. He watched as both sets of girls entered into the building along with Brandon following behind.
Greyson checked the clock and saw it was only 3 in the afternoon, if he hurried this process along, he could still go visit his grandmother before dinner time.
He then walked over to his stereo that he had hooked up to the speaker system and looked for a good song for them to dance to. He finally settled on Devvonn Terrell Cease & Desist. It was one of the artists he heard on Red's playlist when they were fucking like rabbits. He's been listening to different songs trying to pick out some good ones or the Deejays to add to their list.
