Here we go...

The bell rings, and we all leap off of our platforms. I head straight for the heart of the cornucopia, finding a vest and a bag full of silver knives. I make it out of the large, golden structure, but get stuck in the blood bath. I see someone fighting over a back pack with fire girl, and I send the knife straight into the center of his spine.
He falls over, dead.
I just killed someone....
No time to think about that now. I send another knife at Fire Girl, but she pulls the backpack in front of her face and the knife lodges in the fabric.
I would have thrown another knife, but as I was about to throw it, a huge force of weight flung me doen, my attacker and I rolled across the ground, my knife was now aimed at the chest of the boy tribute from District 5. But he threw me down. He pinned my arms to the ground with his knees, and he took my knife from me.
I'm beginning to panic. "Cato! Cato!" I call out, petrified, as the boy aims my knife for my throat. Just as he is about to penetrate the flesh on my neck, a thick-silver blade is thrust through the spine of the boy, coming out of his stomach with a spray of blood, and he topples off of me.
I look up to see Cato, standing over me with his hand out-stretched.
I take it, and he helps me pull myself up. Once I was on my feet again, I realized that Cato was bleeding.
"What happened?" I asked him, as the blood continued to drip down his blood, a little too quickly for my comfort.
"District 8 got to the sword before I did, I took care of him though." he says, keeping me by his side, with his sword ready to attack whoever comes near the two of us.
"By the way, District 4 is on our side too." He says, and I don't question him.
"Okay," I murmured, wiping some of the District 5 boy's blood off of my forehead.
"What's he doing here?" I ask, motioning to Peeta, who's sitting on a crate next to the Cornucopia.
"He said he can help us get Fire Girl. I mean he knows her weaknesses better than anyone else right?" He murmurs into my ear. I nod, but I'm upset, this means I'll probably have to watch him die. It didn't really seem fair. Whatever, his life isn't my responsibility. Only Cato's was truly inportant to me, I would do anything to keep him next to me.
"Does it hurt much?" I ask, turning my full concentration to Cato, and motioning to the wound on his forearm. It was bleeding far too much for my liking.
"No, not really." He said, but I can see right through his lie, and I can tell that he's in pain. The cut wasn't clean, the boy from eight obviously had no practice with a sword.
"Hey." Said Marvel, as he and Glimmer walked up to us, only the girl tribute from Distroct 4 joined us afterwards. The boy must have been killed.
The cornucopia was riddled with carcasses, and it made me feel sick. So much death... My stomach lurched when I realized how much gore was splattered on myself.
Cato looked me over worriedly. "Are you hurt?" He asked, referring to all the blood.
"No," I answered, "it isn't mine." I try to swallow the lump in my throat.
Now that there is no more killing, the cannons begin to go off for those killed in the bloodbath.

Silence.....
11 Tributes, dead in an hour. Eleven....
I gave myself something to do in order to ignore all the death around me. I searched all of the supplies that were left at the Cornucopia. I found weapons, food, sleeping bags, tents, water bottles, ect. It's extremely plentiful. I found a small silver jar of medicine. Same kind that they use in the Capitol. I take the medicine and a water bottle over to Cato.
As I pulled the cap off of the metal container, there was a quiet sucking sound, as the air from the container was released.
"What's that for?" Cato asked, pointing to the container.
"Your arm, this heals wounds really quickly, if this is the same stuff that was used on my hands." I say, showing him my palms, with the soft pink scars that are by then barely visible.
I take the cap off of the water bottle, and gently taking Cato's arm, I tip the bottle, and sent a slow stream of water onto the cut, rinsing away the blood. I heard Cato suck in a sharp breath.
"Sorry! I know, it stings." I said, putting the empty bottle back down on the ground, and dipping my first two fingers into the medicine. "I know how to treat knife wounds, this is just a bigger one. I'm used to doing this. When I was younger, I used to slice up my hands terribly." I chuckled, trying to keep his mind off of it. I felt like it always helped me. Then again, we didn't have this capitol style medicine. We may be richer than most of the other districts, but we still had to use herbs and whatever we could to survive.
I began to gently dab the medicine onto the torn flesh of his forearm, and his muscles immediately relaxed.
Once that I was sure that there was plenty of the medicine on the wound, I popped the cap back on the jar, and gave Cato a quick kiss.
"Better?" I asked, Cato nodded, and we both smiled. I don't care that the other tributes were staring. So what?
