Chapter 11: The Mission

(Same night as the chapter before)

10:37pm

Harlem

Spot and the other leaders and arranged two people from each borough, who joined their side, to go to Harlem. There plan was to check out what they were doing. Example, if they were getting people, who weren't newsies, on their side.

For the first borough, Queens, the newsies were Freya and Stitches. Freya was actually the younger sister of Leo. To be honest, Leo did not want her to be there. Though Stitches said he would take good care for her. Stitches was loyal to Leo and made sure to keep his promises.

From the Bronx was Smalls and Skip. Smalls was quite found of being in Manhattan, visiting the newsies, and was happy to go up north to Harlem for the mission. Skip was tall and skinny for a 16 year old. But he was a good runner so he voniteered to join .

Spot chose Hawk Eye and Storm for Brooklyn. They both worked really well together. Storm better as a fighter as Hawk Eye was better as a lookout and noticing the tiniest of things.

Last, but not least, was Manhattan. Race insisted to go on this mission. None of the other second in commands did. Well they were instructed not to so they could look after everyone else. Though. Race will always be stubborn, leaving Specs and Albert to look after everyone. Surprisingly Davey joined them as well. The intelligent,tall, boy wanted to prove and help the newsies. Not wanting to just go home and forget about it. Though he made sure to inform his brother, Les, to tell his parents he was staying at the Lodging House. To help the newsies learn more about school.

"So we just gotta wait up here?" Freya wisbeard. They were all on top of a building which viewed over Harlem. They had been following the newsies for around 30 minutes before settling down. They stopped, what looked like, a bar or a pub. Of course they'll find some recruitments here.

"Guess so" Strom said back. He would take a cigar out at this moment but he told himself, before he went out, not to take a single one. In case it informed Harlem where they were.

"This whole situation is stupid" Skip sat down on the ground of the building. "What's the point of Venom doing this?"

"I don't know" Smalls called out "Apparently, from what I heard, Spotty's girly went out with him once. They broke up and mad Spot took her away"

"Some what true" Race said knowing the full story. To make it all short. When Spot was 16 he had met Isabella, now his girlfriend, at the place where they go to get lunch. She was a waitress. They never had a good start. Bickering everyday. Though as time went on they began to enjoy their friendship. Venom, though he had a different name then, we're friends with both of them the. However, he was make a horrible plan behind the scenes. Framing Spot so Isabella would break up with him. Which she sadly did. Causing her to fall head over heels with Venom. Though later on finding out the truth she was horrified and wanted no part with him anymore. Though she couldn't get away from him without a bruise of two.

⚠⚠⚠(Bad summary 😂 I actually despise the Isabella book. Because I just thought of another idea on how they could've met. It would make so much more sence. Also it would help you understand why Venom is so mad. But I just have to keep it now 😅😅I will make a summary of it one day. But I just hate the book so much!!!⚠⚠⚠

"Wait all of this is because of a girl?" Stitches said with a sarcastic laugh "That's stupid"

"Well some people get mad when they loved someone and it's take away from them" Davey spoke back looking at the streets below. How long could they take? Well the newsies knew they couldn't stay to long or they might get caught.
