James is Jack 😂^

(A day after the last chapter)

James sat at the edge of the docks. Everyone around him was swimming, cooling off from the heat, or just chatting about what will happen in future events. He smiled at the memory of loosing a card game, visiting Brooklyn, and having to jump in the freezing cold docks for loosing.

However not the time.

At one point they'll bring all the newsies around New York to a place to fight against Harlem. The day was unclear and it was unclear if it was going to be sudden or not.

James sighed thinking about it. They barley had enough room at the moment, including some kids sleeping at the docks, so when people get over it'll be a bit crazy.

Though instead of hanging out with everyone else James just sat at the docks thinking. He felt bad the last thing that he, and the rest of the older kids, did was fight with her. Though mostly his fault. But she had to know at some point he didn't want to go to Brooklyn. Manhattan was his home after all.

"You know sitting here trying to be edgy isn't going to help June"

Someone sat next to James. James sighed looking beside him "What do you want? I haven't done anything to you so far. That's all been Alex"

"Heights told me to be nice to the new kids" Flash sarcasticly spoke.

Flash and James had a weird sence to one another. They've both fought and both thought they were alright at some points. So it was just what kind of mood they would be in.

"I'm here to encourage you about June" Flash spoke out "You know how she'll be saved by us and stuff"

"How do you know that"

"I'm Flash, I always know"

"Yeah right" James then muttered something under his breath "Bet ya didn't know Lavender fancied me when we where 7"

"She liked you!? Ew"

"Thanks" James rolled his eyes.

There was a short break before Flash spoke "I never got to really say this but..You're not mad I'm dating Lavender?"

"I'm not mad, that would be stupid, none us our.....But we will break your back if you hurt her" James smiled sweetly , which kinds scared Flash. They treated Lavender like a sister, even if Alex didn't admit it, they would always protect her. They all protected each other, seeing each other as family.

James looked down at the water of the docks. Alex and Mike were messing around in the water as they tried to cool of from the heat. James laughed thinking about when they were little. Those three used to do some of the most stupidest stuff.

"We didn't mean-Ok maybe we "accidently" put Alex on a tray and push him down the stairs. But it was all in the name of science!"

"You know you guys actually have it alright" James turned to Flash's words "Like you know. Got a place, gets looked after, having time to do whatever"

"I thought you liked it in Brooklyn. Anyway, you're free. We have to do stupid jobs around the house"

"So brave" Flash sarcasticly spoke getting a laugh from James.

"Anyway. Yeah I guess we have, some what, more freedom. But, I don't know, I just never really had like a family life kinda thing you guys have"

"Well it's not the most calm place on earth" James laughed thinking of a memory.

"That Bonbon is mine!" 7 year old James pushed Alex. There was one Bonbon one the plate left and all the kids were going after it.

"Not it a million years" Mike jumped but tripped landing on top of them. Lavender was then about to run and get it before Alex held her ankle and she tripped. "Ugh! The Bonbon is mine!"
