"Alright, settle down guys this is not a playroom for toddlers. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend because I have."

Professor Higgins says as he hands our test papers over to Jordon sparks in the front row.

"Your grades determine where you intern. Entering the work force is no game people only the strong survives. You have 1hour 45minutes, you may begin now".

With that said professor Higgins sits behind his desk.

" oh crap totally forgot this test I didn't study". Ashley says to us

"Oh please Ashley its not like you're going to fail".

Megan shoots back as she sucks her teeth and rolls her eyes.

I couldn't help my laughter it came out so loud that the professor shushed the class to a quiet mode.

Ashley sat on my right as Megan was on my left. Its true my girlfriends are all nerds.

Half way through my paper I felt my phone vibrate in the back pocket of my jeans I grabbed it looking at the caller ID I notice it was Alex. I decided to text him quickly instead.

Bella: hey, can't talk I'm in the middle of my exams.

Soulmate: sorry lunch cancelled. Emergency came up

Bella: :-(

Soulmate: will make it up to you

Soulmate: :-) ❤

Bella: 👅

Soulmate: later. Dork!❤

I read the text again and couldn't help but smile. When I placed Alex number on my phone I nicknamed him soulmate because that's what I wanted him to be.

" what's that smile about?" Megan ask me.

I just shrugged my shoulder and whisper "later" placing my phone back into my back pocket I continued with my exams.

An hour and 45minutes later we all exist the classroom. My friends and I decided to grab lunch at Bernie's across the street from the college.

We sat at one of the booths and order our meals.

"So..are you going to let us in on this secret smile you had in class?"

"What smile". I say to Megan as both girls stop eating and look at me with interest written on their faces.

I couldn't help but laugh then taking my phone out I showed them the text.

" this guy sends you hearts and you're all googly eyed"? I don't get it Bella". Megan says

"So what going on? Thought you were head over heels with Alex but now...I see you've got your phone calling someone else soulmate that's weird". Ashely says

" I thought you were to meet up with Alex for lunch". This coming from Megan.

I blushed and continued eating not answering or looking up at my friends. When I was almost done I looked up and saw them still starring.

"Oh you slut. Its Alex's number. I just remembered you saying that You had to meet up for lunch". Megan says slapping my arm

" oww that hurts".

"Aww that's sweet calling Alex your soulmate". Ashley says

" its not like he sees me as this."I say still blushing

"One can only dream Bella". Ashley says
