Alex Pov

We both sat in the car in silence as I drive. Watching Isabella at the corner of my eye she look angry. I needed to clear the air between us.

"Aren't you going to say something?"

Bella looked over at me still upset. I really didn't want our friendship to go down the drain. My sister and Isabella was always my weak point. Not answering, Bella turns her head back on the road trying hard to ignore me.

"Katerina shouldn't have said that".

"No 'your fiancé' shouldn't have". She spits back with venom In her voice. 'what a spit fire' I thought and held back a smile.

"We both were just 16 when I gave Katerina that promise ring. Had no idea she kept it for so long".

She turn again and stared at me now. I ran my hand through my hair. Didn't want to give out to much' Thinking to myself.

She spoke her mind out loud accidentally and I heard. I smirked.

"Yes you do Bella and I'm sorry for not confiding in you for after all you're my best friend and we took an oath to never hide secrets from each other".

I watch as she slaps her hand on her head. She didn't want me to hear her thoughts out loud.

"Pull over Alex I don't feel well". Bella says

Getting off the highway i pack on the side of the road as i notice Bella unbuckle her seat belt and quickly rushed out of the car.

Walking a distance behind her i notice she bends forward throwing up. I walk back to the car grabbing a bottle of water and tissue.

"Thanks". Bella says as I hand her the water and tissue.

Looking down at her a little disappointed Bella takes  the tissue from my hand wiping her mouth off. She snatches the bottle out of his hand. I watch as she Opens the bottle and drink drank down the water thirstily.

Walking back to the car we got in and i drove off again.

"So you're not engaged?" She ask curiously

"Nope. Katerina's parents and mine thought it would be good for both families to join but I'm not ready to tie the knot as yet".

"That explains it. But that doesn't explain the fact that you broke your promise. You could have called or  sent a text Alex". Bella says

I didn't know how to answer her so i kept my eyes on the road. If she knew that I blew her off to be with Katerina that night then I'm toast.

"It won't happen again beauty I promise".

To lighten and change the mood in the car i smiled and notice her smiling back. We stayed quiet after that. The only sound now coming from the car was the soundtrack by the Jonas brothers -Paranoid.
