Are we to speak, first day of the week you walked into my lab. I wasn't expecting someone willing to be my flat mate, let alone someone by the likes of you. I didn't know it then but from that very moment you changed my life John Hamish Watson. And after those first few words exchanged my life would never be the same.
And I don't want it to be.
John, before I met you I had cut myself out from the rest of the world. It was just me and my work. I loved it, it gave me everything I thought I needed. Until you stepped through that door.
Are we to speak of that very first case. The one that made me realize I needed you in my life.
You've mentioned how I changed your life that day, but what you don't know is how much you've changed mine. John, you gave me a reason to keep going, you showed me how there is more to life than work and cases, and you even made those better.
Before we met I was content with being a solitary creature, but John you showed me that I need more than that, that I deserved more than that.
You are everything that I never knew I needed.
