John,

I read you for some kind of poem. I believed that I could read you like a book, as I have read every person before you. But you a different than everyone, in so many ways, and I know that now.

No one has ever loved me, not even my own brother or parents. I always thought that no one ever could, but I was wrong, and I know that now.

I always believed that I was never capable of loving someone, but I was wrong, and I know that now.

I was wrong because, John, I love you. And I was wrong because now I know that you love me too.

I read you for a book, a poem, like everyone else, but I was wrong, John you are so, so much more.

 John.

Would you do me the honor of becoming my boyfriend?

Anxiously awaiting your response,

Sherlock Holmes xx
