Oh I'm doing just fine
Except Im not.
But that's not what you want to hear
You want me to tell you about my day
Minus the bad depressing parts
Tell you the weather was nice
Except at 7pm when it started to rain
Tell you what I did
Except..I didn't do anything
But I'll make something up to keep this conversation going
I cleaned my room, studied for a bit than read a book.
Except, my rooms a mess my homework is piling and I can't get myself to read a line.
But I lie. So that you don't have to ask why.
Why am I no longer interested in the conversation
Why am I dozing off every 5 seconds
Why does it look like I haven't slept in days
So I conceal these dark circles
Pay attention to everything
And keep this conversation going.
