Apo and Chi Meeting

Y/N POV

I enter the dormitory.

It's been so long since I've been here...it feels kinda nice to be back...

Shouji walks over to me and hands me Chi.

"Thanks for watching her and for the cute sweater..." I say to Shouji, taking Chi and hugging the sweet kitten.

"It's nothing," Shoji replies, smiling under his mask.

He then grabs his luggage and walks off to his room.

I walk to my room. I open the door and start unpacking. I also set all of Chi's stuff down and she lays down on her pillow to take a nap. When I finish, I check the time:
11:47pm

Woah...it's late...but...I'm not all that tired...oh yeah! Didn't Merlin say I could go to her house anytime and pick up a few of my old things...?

I grab my backpack and exit my dorm room. I close the door behind me and head to the elevator. I go down and exit the dormitory.

I head to the train-station. I purchase a ticket and hop on the train. After a short train ride, I hop off. I start my walk to Merlin's home.

I arrive and knock on the door.

Merlin soon opens the door. When she sees me, she smiles. Merlin greets,
"Hey, Clementine. How was your trip?"

"Great! How have you been?" I ask.

"I've been alright. Oh! There's something I need to show you," Merlin replies, stepping aside and holding the door open for me.

I enter Merlin's home. She closes the door behind us. I then follow her to her living room.

I hear a faint "woof" come from the direction of the living room.

"Merlin...is there a-?" Before I can finish asking my question, Merlin cuts me off by saying,
"You'll see..."

We enter the living room, and I see the cutest little puppy sitting on the floor in the middle of the living room. They turn around and look at me.

I squeal a fangirl squeal.

I run over to the sweet puppy and pet him.

So cute...

"That's Apo. He was about to be...put to sleep at the animal shelter and I thought you might want him...I...also hated to see his sweet eyes look at me through the window with such sadness.
So! Do you want to take him with you as a pet and new friend?" Merlin explains, smiling at me.

"Of course I'm bringing him with me! He's so so so so so cute..." I reply, rubbing the sweet puppy's ears and face.
