Y/N POV

~Flashback~

I still can't believe it.

Just like that, everyone is gone...

They helped me smile again...

And they died protecting others...

They aren't certified heroes...

They were normal...everyday people...

Why...?

They said heroes would come and protect everyone...

But heroes are still everyday people...

They aren't anything special...they're just people who were trained to use their quirks better...

"I'm sorry, Clem..." I hear Tomura quietly say to me.

I look up from the blood stained floor, to him.

"They were good people...but they were foolish. Heroes aren't going to come and save you are anyone else all the time... People always turn a blind eye to quite visible bad things... They don't worry about anything because the so called 'Symbol of Peace' exists... I hope you've learned that..." Tomura rants.

I should probably listen to him...but somethings he says aren't always...well...they occasionally lack common sense...*internal sigh* still...

"I have to get going...Sorry again, Clem..." Tomura gives me comforting hug, being sure not to have all five fingers on each hand touch me, although his quirk doesn't do anything to me. He pulls away and walks off.

I look back at all of the destruction caused over three years...many people I care about died over that time period...

I feel tears fill my emotionless eyes again.

I want to become a hero.

I need to become a hero...

So that I can help prevent things like this from happening again...

So that others don't feel like a huge part of them has been ripped out, when they lose someone important to them...

~End Of Flashback~

"What happened?"

"She just...collapsed after the villains left is all that her classmates said. They also said she created something called 'Monster Boris'..."

"Will she be alright?"

"Yes, she should wake up soon."

I slowly open my eyes.

"Y/N! You're awake!" Father exclaims and pulls me into a hug. I hug back. He is wearing his business suit.

"How are you feeling?" Uncle Joey asks. He is, of course, in his pajamas and morning robe.

"I feel fine," I reply.

The doctor runs a few more test and I am released from the hospital. I look at my bandages. I only have a few cuts, scrapes, bruises, and scratches. It's nothing bad.

"So...I gotta head back to work. You and Joey can head back to the house. You also can change into some everyday clothes, if you'd like," Father says.

I nod.

"Alright, we'll head back to the house and relax for a bit. We still meeting up and going out for dinner?" Uncle Joey asks.

"Yep, be careful you too!" Father says and walks off to work.
