"YOU'RE A TALKING BIRD!!!!"

Y/N POV

Wait...

I stop walking.

"Merlin...can't you teleport?" I ask, breaking the silence.

"I was waiting for you to bring that up," Merlin states, smirking.

She then teleports us to her home.

"Alright. Let's get to work," Merlin says.

Tokoyami POV

...I can't sleep...

I check the time on my phone.

It's...3:28am...

I sigh.

I wonder if Y/N is awake...

I get out of my bed.

I slip on my slippers and exit my room.

I walk to the elevator and go to the girls side of the second floor.

I quietly open the door to Y/N's dorm room.

It's dark, the lights are off.

I look around.

It doesn't look like Y/N's in her bed.

Y/N's not working at her desk.

Is she in the closet...by the shrine/alter...?

I quietly enter her room.

I open the door to her closet.

I don't see her.

I double check the bed, up close.

I don't see her.

Where? Where? Is...this a prank? Yeah...this is a prank this is all a prank...

"Y/N...? Where are you...? Are you in your ink puddle form? Is this a prank?" I ask, looking around for Y/N, hoping that this is all a prank. That this is all a prank and Y/N will pop out of the ground, jump scarring me. Then she'll smile and hug me and be happy about the prank startling me. All of my worries will go away...

I continue to look around and wait for Y/N to appear.

...

She never does.

"Y/N...?"

I look around some more.

Maybe...she's out...she's just off campus doing something...yeah...maybe...I could text her?

I exit Y/N's room, closing the door behind me.

I walk back to my room.

I enter, closing the door behind me.

I get my phone and text Y/N:

Me: Where are you?

Now I just need to wait for a response...

Y/N POV

Ugh...I don't get this...I've tried every way...way isn't the spell working? Merlin won't tell me anything...

I then hear my phone vibrate.

I pick it up and see that it's a text message from...Tokoyami:

Tokoyami: Where are you?

I sense Merlin's presence behind me.

"Did you not tell anyone where you're going?" Merlin asks.
