I know for sure that Spencer is magical now. I asked him where food was and carried him with my eyes closed. He brought me right over to a huckleberry bush. I ate them all. They were juicy. Heaven. I love Spencer. Thank you.

I've been contemplating things. I've been out here for a month. Not quite a month. Whatever. Spencer has brought me good luck with every corner. He found me a creek with the freshest water ever. Life is hard out here. Very hard. So hard. Unbearably hard. It's like the easy things to do at home are inconceivable here. I speared a fish. Finally. It takes a lot of work. Light meat. It's yummy.

I'm home, MOM! Well, you weren't. I brought Spencer out and he showed me the way. When I arrived, I was home alone and I am writing in here now. Wait, I think I just heard the door open. Yep, you're home now. Yipee. I'm so excited. Why do look shocked? Stop yelling my name. What is that noise? A baby? With a deformed face. Nope, I am so not going to look at you.

HEY! Where are you going?! Hey! Hey! You're telling me to do something but I'm not paying attention. Wait! Don't grab my Spencer! That's mine! No! This is my journa
