Third person pov.

"Shh, stop fussing," Dean scolded his boyfriend who was sitting in front of him. Seth grumbled out an incoherent remark and folded his arms against his chest. "Why did I agree to this?"

"Because you love me,"

Seth's lips were slim and he smiled softly, nodding his head. "That is so," He agreed, tilting his head upwards. Dean was sitting on his bed while Seth was sitting on the floor, so Seth's head was laying against Dean's lap. Dean smiled brightly and pecked Seth's forehead.

Over, under, over, under,

Dean repeated in his head. Just like his older sister taught him when they were little. With a relieved sigh Dean let go of Seth's hair and pulled him up from the floor, pulling him towards his drawer. "Now where did I-there it is!" He grabbed the pile of daises beside him and grabbed one, threading it through Seth's hair.

When Dean was done and he thought Seth's hair was decent he let him look in the mirror. Dean laughed loudly when Seth's facial expression dropped and he slid his hands down his face. "Seriously, why the hell did I agree to let you do this," He mumbled.

Dean had begged to style Seth's hair today so Seth obliged. He didn't know Dean was going to braid his hair, and to be extra, add flowers to his look. It's not like he hated it, it's just he's never had his hair styled like this before. It was weird.

"Stop laughing," He told him, with a finger pointing towards his chest.

Dean picked their bags up and handed Seth his, kissing his cheek. "I love you," He was still chuckling and that made Seth feel so small. He didn't know what to think.

They walked downstairs and into the kitchen where Dean's mother was sitting on the kitchen island, reading the newspaper. "Like my hair Mrs. Ambrose?" Seth said, spinning around for her. And just like Dean had done, she laughed too. "Sweetheart you look like a five year old on their first day in elementary," Seth couldn't help the smile that rugged on his mouth and the blush that spread throughout his cheeks.

Dean intertwined his fingers in Seth's and pulled him towards the door. He farewelled his mum as Seth followed. "I trusted you," Seth mentioned when they were halfway through their route. "You still do baby," Dean giggled, using his other hand to hold onto Seth's arm, hugging it tightly.

Seth couldn't even remember how many times he'd been complemented, teased and stared at all day. With lunch nearly over and one more period to go through until the end of the day, Seth was starting to feel betrayed. Dean had this nice idea of nicknaming Seth, Cynthia.

God fuck was this embarrassing.

Even his friends were calling him Cynthia, and with Roman, it was never going to end. Hell, Seth probably lost most of his friends to Dean because of how hilarious this plot seemed. It was like a never ending nightmare.

But the thing is,

Seth started to like it.

He had walked into the bathroom during second period and as he was washing his hands he stared at himself in the mirror for a few minutes. He liked the way Dean left his baby hairs out at the front which framed his face. It was fucking weird, but it was fucking addictive too.

So when the next day came, Seth had walked rather earlier that usual to Dean's house. He let himself in with the key that Mrs. Ambrose had given him. He walked into Dean's bedroom and saw Dean sitting on his bed, his curtains were open and his bed was made, Dean was just about to go down for breakfast.

"Well good morning Cynthia," He greets him. Dean throws his phone on his bed and stands up, gradually walking over to Seth. He wraps his arms around Seth's neck and kisses him sweetly.

To his surprise, Seth carefully guides them both back to his bed. "Good morning," He said, reaching over to grab Dean's brush and handing it to him. Dean looked at him confusedly while Seth kissed Dean's forehead. "Thanks babe,"

He sits down on the floor and waits for Dean to start brushing and braiding his hair.

Now Dean regrets willingly braiding Seth's hair that one morning, because ever other morning Seth had arrived earlier and earlier to his house. To the point where Seth would show up before Dean was even awake. Thanks to Dean, Seth loves his hair in a braid. Just minus the flowers.

🕊

I'm not ready to accept the fact that Dean is 'leaving' wwe. I'm still seeing a lot of reports of Dean's leave being a hoax and apart of the storyline but then at the same time wwe itself has half-convinced me that it's an ongoing thing. I wasn't ready for The Shield's 'last match' and I sure as hell ain't ready for Dean's release. 😭😩
