You were nestled against his chest, your head askew and resting upon his left shoulder as you let your fingers trail through the bath water, mesmerized by the rose peddles as they danced across the surface. The bubbles had long since dissipated, with them your embarrassment to be seen in such a bare state. His arms were tucked under yours, hands clasped against your stomach as he held you close in his embrace.

"I think if I were given another chance at life, I'd want to try and be more adventurous." You snickered to yourself softly, the water rippling with your gentle laughter. You took a flower petal between your fingers and let your touch take in the silky texture.

"I think I'd want to try being a painter." Taehyung answered back, the content smile that stretched his lips thin was almost apparent in his tone. He unclasped his folded hands and began to draw circles on your stomach under the warm water as if using you as a canvas.

"A painter, really?" You turned your head, letting your eyes peek at him in faint surprise. Your lips pursed together tighter, looking him over as you tried to imagine him in such a profession. You could see his perfectly carmelized skin splattered with bits of paint, his hair pulled back maybe even in a bun as he let his hair grow out. Every pair of pants he owned stained with a verity of colors. Perhaps you could imagine it.

"Yeah, It was a hobby I tried a few times in high school. I was starting to really love it, before I... well you know." He let his words trail off as he didn't bother to finish his sentence, you knew what he meant. Your lips curled into a smile as you turned away from him and looked back ahead. "I'd probably be broke constantly but--" He laughed.

"Well, I say do it." You bobbed your head, letting your faintly damp bangs bounce against your forehead. "If there is such thing as reincarnation that is." Your shoulders shrugged softly, inwardly you wanted to believe it was true. The idea of starting all over, getting another chance to do things 'right'. It sounded blissful.

"I don't know where the soul's go after they've accepted their fate." Taehyung started to say, his tracing fingers coming to a halt as his heads locked in a dead stare with space. "As I said, we're never told about the 'afterlife', I guess those who come before us decided it'd be best if we didn't know. Less likely to want to 'move on' or whatever." His eyes rolled faintly before blinking away the sarcasm in his statement. "I don't know though... something in me tells me there is another chance out there."

"Do you want that second chance?" You questioned, your expression became more flat and calm as you genuinely wondered his answer. Sure, hypotheticals were one thing, living in fantasy could be so much fun but genuinely wanting something was entirely different.

The man who coddled you fell silent for a long moment, you assumed in thought. You didn't want to glance back and let your gaze burn him with a sense of expectation. You waited in the silence, thinking over your own answer to your question. If there was such a thing as perfection, you'd assume it would be these moments now.

"Yes, but--" His arms wrapped lightly around your body, pulling you into a backward hug as he cradled you close, his actions causing an infectious smile to roll across your lips. "I would only want it, if it was with you."

"Shut up." You scuffed, lightly slapping his arm as he held you. Your eyes rolled at the cheesy nature of his sentiment. He was romance with legs, always trying to say or do something that would make your heart skip a beat, he was getting pretty good at it too.

"Seriously, think about it." Taehyung implored as he rested his chin upon your shoulder, staring straight ahead the same as you, as if looking into a metaphorical television screen. "You and I, growing up in the same neighborhood. We went to the same school all our lives. You bickered and fought growing up, you'd tease me and I'd prank you. For years we'd assume that we hated one another, till high school kicked in." From the corner of your eye, you could see him smiling.
