The two of you finished your coffee and neatly left the cups stacked on the table for the waitress to come collect. You were a bit thrown off by not being given a paper cup that you could just chuck in the trash as you left, but then again you weren't used to the more high-class lifestyle. Taehyung, on the other hand, seemed to fit in with it just fine.

Standing up, you straightened out your borrowed black trench coat and waited for Taehyung to round the table and lead the way to your next destination, though you weren't sure either of you knew where that was yet.

He offered you a sultry smile as he passed your back, cocking his head to the side to tell you to follow as he made his way to the door. Your eyes rolled faintly as you stuffed your fists into the pockets of your coat and began to follow after him. You started to move away from the table but paused when something caught your eye.

A little black box was left on the wooden surface, and you saw that Taehyung had left his phone. You went to call out to him to tell him to grab it, but he was already out the door. Leaning over, you snagged the little Apple device and slipped it into your pocket as you jogged softly to catch up with him like a lost puppy that was letting itself be led around.

You burst through the door and quickly shuffled to Taehyung's side. The rain had gained speed a bit, falling a little faster from the sky, though its density wasn't too thick. Taehyung wasted no time in starting off to the next location as you followed alongside him.

"Did you forget something?" You questioned, trying to hide the curvature of your lips as you decided to play a bit of a head game with him.

"What?" He asked, shooting you a cocked brow as he looked down to you at his side.

"Are you missing anything?"

He began to pat himself down over his clothes, trying to see if he was missing something. You heard the rattle of his car keys as he checked to see if they were there, then checked to make sure he still had his wallet.

"No?"

"Are you sure?" You laughed, your grin escaping as you waited for him to figure it out.

"I have everything." He proclaimed as his lower lip puffed out in a soft pout, trying to figure out the little puzzle you had presented him with though he tried to declare his win too soon.

"Then what's this?" You asked as you whipped the little device from your pocket and held it up in the air between the two of you.

"Oh!" He inhaled, his hand shot forward to take it from you as the two of you stopped at the street crossing.

"Ah, ah, ah! What do you say?" You teased, yanking the phone out of his reach as you stepped to the side.

"Please?" He pouted, his lower lip getting puffier.

"There ya go~" You cooed in praise as you extended your arm to hand the phone back. Your thumb glided along the home button for a brief moment causing the black screen to flash the lock screen, though all you saw was the time and date.

'11:15am - August 24th'

"August 24th..." You whispered as Taehyung took the phone from your hands and slipped it into his pocket.

"What?" He questioned, not hearing your mumble.

"It's... August 24th?"

"...Y/N?" He called out. Taehyung's brows dipped down, looking at you perplexed as your own eyes became distant.

Your eyes bounced frantically, pupils dilating and shaking aimlessly from one point to the next as you tried to search the confines of your mind in your desperate attempt to collect your thoughts.
