A Pokémon trainer has a story for every one of their Pokémon. It could be an intense battle, a lucky chance, or a life saving meetup, and each one is special in its own way. And how special would it be if you could do it for the entire Pokédex...

"How's the ground?" Ursula walks up to Ash in a more casual outfit.
"Great," Ash responds before taking a moment to actually see who he's talking to. "Oh Ursula right?"
"The one and only," She smirks and flips her peach coloured curls. "Need help?"
"I guess," Ash sits up and uses her hand to pull himself up. Good thing Ursula could hold her ground or that would have been awkward.
She dusts off her hands on her red velvet skirt before following Ash to the bleachers. "Shouldn't you be waiting to see if you move on?" Ash asks.
"I know Dawn and Jessebelle's performances were better," Ursula admits, straightening out her tight black shirt. Something Ash couldn't help but notice.
As Ursula finishes Marian announces that those two girls are in fact moving on. "Smart," Ash agrees and she giggles.
"So who are you cheering for?" Ursula asks from beside him.
"Dawn," Ash gives a thumbs up to the blunette who looked up at the perfect time. He could have sworn Dawn's face dropped after seeing him though...
"Oh," Ursula's eyebrows raise. "I actually was reading up on Dawn one day because of her win in Jubilife."
"Studying your opponents?" Ash questions and she nods.
"I come from a small town," She sighs and looks up at the bright sky. "But coordinating flows through its streets. Every year the town picks one coordinator to represent and I wasn't the top choice."
"Then—?" Ash starts but let's her continue.
Ursula starts to pet Shinx a little more harshly. "As the mayor my dad could sway the vote, and he did," You could hear the regret in her voice. "It wasn't like I told him not to or anything, I wanted him to..."
Ash, unsure what to say, tries to focus on Dawn and Cascoon who aren't doing so good.
"So basically I have to be the best," Ursula sees that Ash is uncomfortable and decides to end her story early. The two hide amongst the cheers of the crowd who are enjoying the battle.
The points are somewhat even, Jessibelle having the edge with her Seviper. A poison versus poison matchup isn't what you expect at a contest, especially one held in a flower field.
Seviper slithers towards Cascoon with his shimmering black tail emanating a purple glow. Cascoon tried to stop him with string shot but the beaten down ground made it hard to act.
Seviper nails the fellow poison type, hitting him home run distance.
Cascoon retracts her spikes and rolls through the flowers, her purple hue sticking out among the bright colours. She waits for the breeze to pass before lifting herself above the flowers.
A stare forms between the two Pokémon. Seviper's blood red fangs hanging out, ready to deliver the final blow. But then the sun becomes the second brightest object shining down on the area.
Cascoon disappears within the whirling cloud of light... Until two colourful wings spring out, flapping gently in the air.
Dustox.
