A Pokémon trainer has a story for every one of their Pokémon. It could be an intense battle, a lucky chance, or a life saving meetup, and each one is special in its own way. And how special would it be if you could do it for the entire Pokédex...

After a few minutes of running the towering city appears over the trees. Its massive skyscrapers rise high into the sky in many different shades of grey. The last few hours of sunlight are getting reflected by the ground to ceiling glass walls.
Ash and Dawn aren't within the city limits yet but they can already hear the sounds of the bustling city. As well as the stereotypical city smell caused by the industrial pollution within it.
"You're not gonna win," Ash smirks as soon as the path turns to brick and the city streets can be seen.
"Slow down and maybe I will," Dawn says a few metres behind him.
Ash turns his head to reply but before he can, a high speed object collides into him. "Ash are you okay?" Dawn runs up to the fallen boy worriedly.
"Yep," Ash groans and sits up on the hard brick.
"I'm going to fine you for not making sure I'm okay too," They hear the other person say angrily.
He looks about their age with very blonde hair that extends horizontally past his head. He also has a zipped up and striped orange and white short sleeved jacket, grey khakis and a green scarf.

"Oh no," Ash hears Dawn mutter and he looks at her confused.
"Uhh," Ash trails off, not really knowing how to respond.
"And I'm going to fine you for running into me!" The boy declares.
"Who says it wasn't you who ran into Ash!" Dawn fights back. "Barry."
"Oh," Barry realizes the girl he yelled at. "Hey Dawn."
"Just because your dad is a Frontier Butt or whatever, doesn't mean you can go around telling people you are going to fine them!" Dawn yells. "Grow up."
"Got him," Ash says quiet enough that only Dawn hears. She barely keeps herself from giggling while focusing on the stuck up kid in front of them.
Barry tries to think of a good comeback but he's coming up with nothing. So he goes with the old fashioned, "You think you're amazing don't you Dawn, I bet you can't beat me in a Pokémon battle. My Piplup can't be beat by a Pokémon trainer by you."
"Piplup eh?" Dawn looks at Ash and he smirks. "You're on bare-bear."
Ash thinks to himself that he should use that nickname for a specific friend of his. "Piplup come on out!" Barry throws the water type Pokémon in between him and the blunette.
"Shinx spotlight!" Dawn points out in front of her.
"Shii," The shiny pokemon chirps and jumps into a battle position.
"Whoa a shiny Shinx," Barry mutters awestruck by his shiny gold coat. "Wait you're cheating! You can't use his Pokémon!"
"Ash and I are partners," Dawn smirks. "We are in this together as are our Pokémon."
