Third Person's POV

"Thanks again guys for taking me with you," Cheryl smiles sweetly at the two teenagers.

"Not a problem," Ash states. "Why did you go through in the first place though?"

"I'm tracing my grandfather's footsteps," The green haired woman smiles ahead of her. "He used to tell me stories about all of the adventures he's gotten to go on."

"Oh that's nice," Dawn nods. "So you're searching for something then."

"He used to tell me these wonderful stories about a mansion covered in vines and hiding among the trees," Cheryl spreads of her arms like she's accepting in the sunlight that's barely getting through the trees. "One day he got really sick and made me promise I would find the mansion one day."

"Oh I'm sorry," Dawn sighs but Cheryl waves it off.

"He said his time had come, said that he accomplished enough to fulfill himself," Cheryl rubs her eyes. "But he was persistent on me finding the mansion."

"So I've been studying all his journals and narrowed down my search to the north end of Eterna Forest," Cheryl sighs. "I searched all over the area but got lost and found myself at the southern entrance. Now I just want to get home."

"Professor Rowan was right about the forest being a maze then," Ash looks around, seeing nothing but green.

"Yea I meant to stay on the main path," Cheryl frowns. "But I thought the mansion would be far off the path so I made the mistake of leaving it."

"I am perfectly fine staying on this path," Dawn keeps her eyes on the bare clay path they're walking on. "Did your grandpa tell you anything else you could do?"

"I few small things," Cheryl starts to think. "He wanted me to get a Mothim but I've tried everything to get my Burmy to evolve into one."

"Can we see it?" Ash asks and Cheryl brings out the small leafy Pokémon.

The Pokémon bounces all over until tilting itself around Cheryl's arm while they walk. "Hmm," Dawn pulls out her pokedex.

"Burmy, the bagworm Pokémon," The device informs. "If its cloak is broken in battle, it quickly remakes the cloak with materials nearby. Even if it is born where there are no cocooning materials, it somehow always ends up with a cloak."

"Hmm," Dawns scrolls down the screen. "Is Burmy a male?"

"No she's my little sweetheart," Cheryl nuzzles the Pokémon who returns affectionately.

"Uhh Mothim can only be male," Dawn shows the girl. "Female Burmy evolve into Wormadam."

"What?" Cheryl stops walking. "Is that why Burmy starts to glow but stops herself?"

"She must know what you want her to evolve into," Ash looks at the saddened Pokémon. "So whenever the evolution started, she stopped herself."

"You did that for me?" Cheryl asks the Pokémon sweetly and she nods. "Burmy thank you for trying, if you want to evolve you should. I guess I'm going to have to catch another Burmy."
