Chapter 7: Home to the Coming

Riley's POV:

Hunter: Riley r u ready for me to pick u up?

Me: yeah I'm ready

-later-

We drove to the school and Hunter smiled. "you look beautiful".

"Thanks",I smiled.

We walked in and music blasted through large speakers. People were everywhere.

'This Is How We Do' by Katy Perry was playing.

"Yasssss",I said.

Hunter smiled at me cause of my weirdness.

We walked over to Britney and her date. She smiled at us.

"Do you want to dance with me?",Hunter asked.

"Sure",I said. He pulled me over to the crowd of bodies.

'The Way I Are' began playing after 'Heart Attack' by Demi Lovato.

"Click Link Now"

Hunter began to dance and I swear it was the funniest thing ever.

He did all the moves and it was so funny. I laughed and danced along with him. He's not a bad dancer either.

Hunter moved as they say,"i like you just the way you are".

"Oh baby it's alright if you ain't got a flower for me".

Then I absolutely lost it when he began to dance when they sang,"baby if I strip you could get a tip cause I like you just the way you are".

It's the best.

Just think about him dancing to that line.

When it went, "baby girl I don't have a big old house", he began to lip sync it to me and wave his hands around.

Ok I love this boy.

I jumped around with him and it was the best time ever.

Next 'Drunk in Love' by Beyoncé and Jay Z came on and we danced to that to.

When Beyoncé said,"Surfboard", Hunter literally yelled "Surfboard!", and jumped up and down with his hands in the air.

Then guess what came on next. Just like magic,"Anaconda" came on.

Oh and Hunter danced to that too. He even looked me straight in the eyes and said,"my anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hun".

I laughed at him literally the whole time cause like he was ridiculously awesome even though he embarrassed himself the entire time.

Then my jam,'Maps' came on and I had to yell the lyrics,"THE MAP THAT LEADS TO YOU! BUT I WONDER WHERE WE ARE!!!".

Then we left the dance floor.

I love how Hunter and I just goofed off the entire time. It was so much fun. So so so much fun.

He was a dork but it gave me an excuse to screw off as well.

We got in his truck and started the engine. 'California Gurls' came on the radio and we both sang/yelled at the top of our lungs.

When we got to my house he walked me to my doorstep.

"That was a lot of fun Potato",I laughed.

"I know right",he laughed.

"You wanna sleep over?",I asked.

"Ooh a sleep over?!",Hunter raised an eyebrow.

"Not like that you weirdo. You can stay the night and watch tv with me cause I think I'm gonna be bored alone",I said.

"Ok. Can I go home and get clothes first? I don't want to get up in the morning and have to put on my party clothes",he laughed.

"Yeah sure",I smiled.

Hunter ran to his truck and drove off. I walked in my house and turned on my tv.

A sleepover. Woah ok. Um while I was writing the chapter I was laughing so so hard thinking about how Hunter would dance to 'The Way I Are'. It was really funny for me to write this and I enjoyed it very much.

It's a shorter chapter but the next chapter is about the sleep over. So haha have fun reading that. -@LoveMuffinHayes
