Riley's POV:
Me: dude I don't want to go out tonight ok
Hunter: ok ok but would u watch tv with me?
Me: nope. sorry boob
Hunter: yo mean
Me: am not
Hunter: are too
Me: nuh Uh
Hunter: yes
I typed half my response into the text message when I tripped on somebody.
My face smashed into the person's face and I got knocked back until my face hit the concrete.
Pain filled my mouth when I ate the street. My mouth was bleeding and I figured out that I chipped my tooth.
"Owww",I groaned.
"Are you ok?",the person helped me up.
"Barely",I replied.
The person that practically killed me while kissing me was a guy. He looked about 18.
"Do you want me to drive you home?",he asked. "no",I shook my head.
"Fudge",I touched my tooth.
"I'm so sorry",he apologized. "it's ok. I wasn't paying attention",I said.
He was cute. I don't know who he is though.
"I'm Keegan",he smiled. "I'm Riley",I waved.
I looked around. "well I gotta go sorry",I said turning around.
I went back to my car and drove to the dentist hoping they could get me an appointment.
I checked my phone and Id gotten a lot of messages from Hunter.
Hunter: Riley?
Hunter: why u not responding?
Hunter: it's been 10 minutes. R U ok?
Hunter: Riley what happened?
Hunter: I'm worried now please text me
Hunter: Riley r u hurt?
Hunter: please text me back
Hunter: please tell me u r ok
Hunter: Riley I'm gonna call u
The last text was a minute ago. I decided to call him while I waited.
"Riley?",his voice said breathlessly
"Yeah it's me".
"Are you ok? What happened?".
"I was texting you and ran into somebody's face and ate crap".
"Are you ok?",he asked.
"Yeah. I chipped my tooth and I'm at the dentist",I explained.
"Aww babe",his sweet voice cooed.
"How did you know something was wrong?",I asked.
"Cause you always text me back in the middle of a convo. If you have to leave you always tell me".
I smiled. "well thanks for your concern".
"I love you. Text me when your on your way home",he said.
"I love you too",I smiled as I hung up the phone.
"Riley". The dentist called my name.
