the next day at lunch Troy, Pryor and Hank enjoyed lunch. Troy had a lot on his mind and didnt notice pryor and hank staring at him. not saying much but wanting to say a lot.
"youre awfully quiet." Pryor said.
"just.. alot on my mind." Troy huffed.
"im sure there is." Hank snickered.
Troy didnt respond.
"i heard some.. interesting news." Pryor said raising his brow at Hank.
"news like.. whats goin on on the border?" Troy asked.
"..man who wants to dwell on that." Hank said.
"its serious stuff." Troy said.
"relax. Troys from like the other side of the nation and probably not used to be this close to the battle on the border and hes spooked." Pryor said to Hank. "but we were talking about you and Boram."
"im not SPOOKED." Troy responded defensively.
"give us the details you sly fox." hank said jabbing at him. "stop avoiding the subject."
"a senior and a tiara at that. how did u manage that u weasel." Pryor said joining in with hank.
"how does word get around so quick in this damn school!" Troy said fending off their jabs. "and there is nothing to talk about between Boram and I."
"what happened to your so called dream girl, huh? you just goin' after all the popular girls? you player." Pryor said.
"nothing happened you 2 perverts. knock it off or people will start to believe something did happen." troy said starting to fight back.
"you're no fun." hank said.
"yea. you gonna be at practice tonight or you gonna be planting daisies again." Pryor sighed.
"dont be jealous i 'plant daisies' with a 'TIARA'. Troy wittily snapped back. ''and yea ill be at practice. gotta warm up for the game tomorrow.
"the wise guy over here." Hank chuckled.
"well lets just hope the isnt cancelled cause of the fighting in the area there. Dont be gettin' spooked on us either Troy." Pryor said..
after classes troy reported in for practice. Jang was there outside the locker room and he immediately questioned Troy about his recent absence.
"skipping out on practice after i promote you to starter isnt a good sign." Jang said.
"you know i could question where you have been the last couple days myself. but ill just say i tried to bring it up to you but because you werent here so i did it on my own. i joined another after school club. you can ask yo ur girl about it. her friend Hyomin asked me to help them out. i didnt think it would be a big deal." Troy responded making a case himself.
Jang nodded slightly as if in agreement...a reluctant agreement
"just make sure you're here on the days you arent planting flowers or its the bench again. got it?" jang said before suddenly walking off..
Troy brushed off Jangs anger and went to the locker room to suit up for practice.
after getting ready he came out to see Jang his girlfriend Eunjung, who was all over him, chewing him out.
Troy tried not to watch and enjoy it, but he did crack a little smile.
across from Eunjung and jang, Soyeon was standing there. most likely waiting for Eunjung.
