Later in the week:
Troy had begun spending the last few days at Hwayoungs house. It seemed a bit odd at first, but her parents didnt mind and before he knew it he felt pretty comfortable. Troy wasnt sure exactly how hwayoung was able to sell the idea of letting a boy live with her. maybe it was the truth. maybe they were just easy going parents.. or maybe hwayoung made up some crazy hwayoung story. either way, Troy was thankful.
Even though Troy felt welcomed, he still stuck to himself. He stayed in Hwayoungs room most of the time and left the house even less than he left her room. Troy slept in a big bundle of blankets, some pillows and even random stuffed animals Hwayoung threw together on the floor for him. It was like a snuggly nest of girlie fabrics.
Troy was supposed to be using this time to lay low and gather his thoughts. should he just go back like his command told him to? should he continue his objective even though they told him not to? he had the underlying urge to not go back empty handed, or without some information that was useful. Even if the information about an elementian being at the school was false, he still could investigate areum, he was certain she was an elementian. However he had no idea where she was. she had been out of school more than Troy at this point.Hwayoung finally returned after school, but not right after. Troy heard her foot steps coming up the stairs. she opened the door swiftly, Troy was laying on her bed, arms tucked behind his head. He looked up at her, uniform vest already off, and shirt unbuttoned. She threw her school bag down and threw another, paper bag at troy. Troy caught it, as he sat up.
"i got you dinner." she said as she yanked off her socks and threw them into her hamper.
"thanks. but you didnt have to." Troy said peeking into the bag.
"yes i did. it's bad enough you lock yourself in here all day. cant have you wasting away on me." Hwayoung sighed. "im so tired, move over or something."
Troy didnt move over, he instead got up off the bed for her and went to sit at her desk, on the chair.
"i was starting to think you werent coming home." troy said as he took the wrapped food from the bag.
"well. sorry i dont lock myself in my room all day." hwayoung smiled. "speaking of, the talent show is this weekend."
"wait the one you said you werent going to participate in?" Troy said turning around to face her.
"well, yes... we did say that but a few of us decided to perform. just not as a group like we originally planned." Hwayoung explained. "eunjung and hyomin are going to be in town and everything."
"hyomin just moved..." Troy said surprised.
"so what. stop acting like you want her to stay away." Hwayoung rolled her eyes at him.
"im not acting. i want her to stay away and we both know why!" troy said getting slightly agitated.
"whatever. it would still be nice to see my friend. oh and if you arent completely sold on coming, you should know im performing." hwayoung said flaring her arms out, trying to look flashy.
"you?" Troy said with a single chuckle.
"yes me, whats so funny?" Hwayoung said holding her pose.
"well, now that you mention it. nothing.. in fact i can totally see you doing something over the top and crazy. i mean, you are Hwayoung after all." Troy said coming to the obvious conclusion.
"im so gonna steal the show. so are you going to come see me?" she asked with a big smile and still holding her pose.
"i dont know. i dont know if i should risk it." Troy thought. Hwayoung let her pose go and grumbled.
